Whether you like the song or the group is immaterial, the level of polish both in the choreography (big respect to the choreographer, whoever they are!) and the performance of that choreography is absolutely to notch. Been coming back to this video from time to time since 2015 and it impresses me every time.

I think the reason why Namjoon and Jin are on the "Can't dance line" is because they're not that great at freestyle dancing. Cuz they SLAY their choreo.

I think that true because, when you dance a choreo, you practice and practice but in freestyle you make movements over and over with out practicing... So... They dance choreo good, but not freestyle.

+Kawaii Kenzi They're just not that experienced - when you have someone like Jimin who went to the Busan School of Arts in the modern dance department and has danced since he was a kid, versus someone like Jin who studied drama at university... there's going to be obvious differences in their skill. I believe Jin once said that dancing doesn't come that naturally to him.

I dont really know BTS, but I tried to watch this because it's in the Recommended section.. When the first step appeared, I was like WHOA! Damn! Their choreography is awesome, they are all great dancers, and for me, in my opinion, their choreography is harder than other Boy Groups. Realtalk! :)

Also a tip for people trying to learn Kpop dances: I find that a lot of times it's easier just to get a mirrored version of the dancer practice and slow it down (I'm thankful to KZhead for this function) instead of getting a tutorial. It can be a lot faster and it's great if you want to follow along with someone at the back. Besides the chorus I learned all of DOPE just from the practice video (And since the movement are simple I didn't even have to slow it down).

don't give up! i can't dance either, but i practiced this dance over months.. and actually got better in dancing~ You'll get better and better if you keep doing it, and even learn to not make any mistakes! fighting!! ^~^
