    • Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I can't see a reason to buy these. I couldn't find US pricing online, but Canadian prices don't look appealing compared to Japanese brands.

  • very nice video. I bought a small inflatable and I am lost about the outboard I should buy. Can you recommend Hidea? is it good quality? I am bit confused about the high prices of the Japanese engines and I am looking for another choice. thank you

    • @@boatingsibbingandwandering3262 The only website that I found for Hidea offered a only 6-month warranty. I have a Honda and a Tohatsu which both came with a 5 YEAR warranty. I couldn't even locate a US dealership for Hidea. Hidea might be a decent motor and company, but I wouldn't risk my money on one. There's nothing "childish" about stating facts.

  • Most all advanced mercury outboards along with many other are made in China.I have one and love it. Could buy 3 name brand for what i paid for it. The last guy i met that ran them down, had a mercury on his boat. i ask him to check it. ASSEMBLED in China. So Funny
