How to find inlay parameters. broinwood.com/products/how-i-am-finding-inlay-parameters
The correct spelling is ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΙΑ Η' ΘΑΝΑΤΟΣ or Eλευθερία ή Θάνατος....
Absolutely love the commentary about the speeds and feeds!!! EXCELLENT tutorial video sir!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! thank you!
I've watched your videos for quite some time. I am VERY pleased that you have included voice in the video. It makes the viewing most enjoyable (and I can learn from it). Thank you.
I have loved watching your videos, and I'm super excited that you are talking specs. It means a lot, as an aspiring CNC router guy, that someone respectable, such as yourself, is essentially teaching others your craft.
Thank you!
I never cease to be amazed by your works of art. Another beautiful work. And thanks for the vocal description
Love the new format with commentary!
Thanks!
I'm saving up for mine as we speak! Excellent craftsmanship sir.
Another great board. Enjoyed your inlay course. Helped so much. Thanks.
I like the fact you did a talk over for this video, awesome work as always and it’s great to get an insight into the processes. I would love a CNC powerful enough to cut at 400in/min at 6mm depth!
I too am a huge procrastinator. But have to admit, it is satisfying watching the process. May just buy a CNC to do that! 🤣
Amazing work, - like every time! Kind regards from germany.
Thank you! Cheers!
A Beautiful creation 👍👍👍.Thank you for sharing. Be safe🇨🇦
Thank you! You too!
Je trouve vos planches super belle !!! Vraiment du bon boulot. Mon rêve d'en fabriqué une comme vous 👍👍👍
O M G I would cry if anything went wrong, soooo much time goes into one of these awesome pieces. fantastic Job.
Thanks for the complete walkthrough!
You’re a master of your trade Love the videos.
I appreciate that!
Φανταστκη εργασια, χαιρομαι που ειμαι Ελληνας!!!! Fantastic work, I'm glad to be Greek!!!!
Another incredible work of art. One thing I would love to see is a video on how you make the end grain cutting boards. I know there are a ton of videos like that out there but yours are the best I have seen. I would love to know what your initial cut sizes are and your method. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! Will do!
I agree. I'd love to see the process for making the main board as well as how to make the inlay panels. I always trip myself up with the math involved on making the panels.
Amazing work as always!
Да крутяк!!! Нотакие вещи надо вырезать вручную!!! Что бы сохранялась энергетика мастера изготовившего эту вещь!!!!
Another great board guys. I love all of the detail.
I love the procrastination comment. I'm procrastinating by watching your videos. So it's kind of your fault I'm not finishing my own projects.
😂
Stunning. Love your work.
someday I doing this.... someday! For now, I'll just enjoy the video's. Tnx!
Such talent and skill 👍👍
Stunning!
Thank you for the narration! Good info. I want to do inlays but need some confidence lol
Master piece! Gorgeous!
Thank you very much!
Stunning, like always.
Awesome work. That’s my favourite of all time
Fantastic. Love your work!!!
Thank you so much 😀
Amazing, as always!
Awesome - great work
so beautiful !
Good job. 👍
Awesome as always!
I would need a double sided one, They are master pieces and almost too nice to use as a cutting board. Have one side for use and the other for show. :)
Absolutely amazing looks beautiful great job
Thanks so much 😊
Nice to hear your voice! I love your art. I am currently uprgading my diy CNC to hopefully make myself a cutting board that looks remotely as good as yours. Your videos are very motivating, Thanks for sharing!
I love your videos, id absolutely love to make a board of this quality for myself!!
Very nice cutting board, and awesome wood species. But i think with the spears pointing upward the board would look a little better. 😃
it came out beautifull congratilation my friend
just beautiful
Very cool design and board)
Thank you! Cheers!
good job keep it up.
Trabalho magnifico.
Great video and nice to hear your voice added to the process. You sound just like the lead singer of King Missle in "Detachable P@&!s" song.
It's great to hear your voice and more details on the process. I am always in awe of your work! I'm curious to know what type of press you are using?
Thank you! it's a self-made press, just a metal frame with a bottle jack.
incredible work...which cutter is better for this up cut or down cut work?
Beautiful. Not sure I'd want to use it!
Beautiful work! What are your toughts about stepcraft?
This is incredible! I don’t understand the process of making the plug. I get the surface engrave, but how do you make its opposite to plug in?
Wow , excellent work. May I ask where can I find plans for the spoilboard? 😁
I’d like to see “the press” what kind of press do you use?
Can’t speak for him, but having done this kind of inlay with both a manual veneer press and a vacuum press with breather mesh, go with the vacuum. Depending on how your veneer press is designed, because some of the inlay pieces may have a small surface area, pressure might get applied to the piece in unexpected or uneven ways that can cause the inlay piece to pop out or be pressed unevenly. I only had it happen a couple of times, but that was more than enough. With the vacuum approach (versus a top platten), the breather mesh will ensure that pressure is applied evenly and conforms to the shape of each male inlay.
Hey man, what kind of press do you use for glue up? How much pressure? Thank you. beautiful work btw!
what a beautiful job! I've been trying to learn this technique for a few months now, I'm from Brazil and I follow your channel and I'm inspired by you. Take a doubt, what wood is that yellow you use? I'm a carpenter here in Brazil and I've never seen yellow wood as beautiful as the ones you use there! thanks and successes
Thank you very much! yellow wood is osage orange.
I love your job! I ve to say the I should be a H we have more then one i and the H would be the correct one
Thank you!👍 Thank you for the information!
Thanks for sharing your feedrate and tooling used. What RPM are you running for the 1/8” and 6.2 mm bit?
usually 12000
Great work @Broinwood, What cnc and software are you using?
Thank you! In the current project, I used Stepcraft Q404 and VCarve Pro.
Cool work!)) Tell me, in what program do you make code on the cnc?
thanks! vcarve pro
Do you have a sketch or drawing of how to make the positive and negative part? how much does one part need to fit into the other etc...?
I still can't believe someone would put a knife on that. I would make a boos block cover for it when I was going to use it....
😄
do you hand sand the juice groove after cutting it?
Yes, I do.
Can I ask what size are your pieces prior to glue-up? As in 50 x 25 or 2” x 1” kinda thing and how thick are your finished boards. Thanks
Sure, the approximate size is 24x2x1 inches, and the finished boards are usually 2 or 3 inches thick.
@@Broinwood So at the point of sounding incredibly dumb, so you basically glue-up all the pieces from 25mm or 1” thick stock?
Can you talk a bit more about the press and if you made a press or if you purchased one is there a link so I have an idea of what you use.
There is nothing special; it is just a metal frame and bottle jack.
Just a quick question. Why don't you create a boundary to cut out your inlays instead of a square.
Well, it depends on the design. From time to time, I create a boundary.
hello, I see that you no longer use the CNC axiom. but do you still have it?
Yes i still have it.
What’s the size you use for standard blanks ? 2”x 2” blocks ?
the strip size is about 24x2x1
@@Broinwood So do you buy most of your wood for these projects at 4/4 (1" thick) or do you get 6/4 or 8/4 and cut or mill it down?
Please send me such a work to Poland, but with the assassin's creed valhalla theme. REGARDS
Beautiful work. How would I go about ordering one
Thank you! Please reach out to us at broiwood@gmail.com.
I have a shapeoko cnc can I still do those type of work or is my cnc shitty
Hard to say. Personally, I've never worked with a Shapeoko CNC, but I know a few guys who use that brand, and they produce really cool work.
what are the specs of your CNC machine? make/model/accessories.....
stepcraft q 404, base model with atc
What is the cnc machine you're using?
I believe that's one by stepcraft
stepcraft q404
The "Eleftheria i Thanatos" is not a phrase of Spartans. It was adopted in 1814
How much would you sell such a piece for? And for the audience how much would you pay for it?
$2000
it's ELEYTHERIA H THANATOS and more accuratelly is ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΙΑ Η ΘΑΝΑΤΟΣ Whatever beautiful piece nonetheless
Slammed a 3mm bit 6mm into the wood and it didn't break? I've been lied to my whole life...
Who? What? Huh?
AI voice?
yep, but based on my real voice.
@@Broinwood I knew something was up! But the voice I've not heard before. Interesting, but awesome you trained it on your own voice, you don't see that often on KZhead channels that use AI voice. I understand it's a time saver. Good work, hopefully some day you can record your real voice? 😁
sure ;) someday
great video again. but please stop the voice . Talking not nessecary.
