Azzi has one of the prettiest shots I've ever seen. Her release is so quick.
She does but she needs to keep doing what she did against Texas. Drive to the basket when the opportunity is there. Plus, run the floor when you can. Certainly, Nika’s long passes after Dorkha and Aaliyah rebounds led to some great fast break points

Azzi is definitely player Uconn has on their roster period. She plays defense, her handle is tight, she shoots the ball very well, passes very well, shoots the mid range and she can take contact!

it's hard to tell but from what I saw, she took three steps after catching the ball so i'm guessing a gather step was allowed or it was just too hard for the officials to call for certain at that speed

@@anthonytaylor7928 I watched Maya Moore (MM) in a freshman year till she finished college and unto the pros. She was an excellent player endowed with skills and physical attributes. She never sustained any major injury. Azzi Fudd is a very good player and may I say close to MM. She is in her second year and was plagued with injury in her first year. WE will see how the year goes.

@@anthonytaylor7928 Page was good but not as good as Maya Moore. I did say that many times. Only few players in college basket ball are as good as Maya Moore. To me she was a benchmark of basketball excellence. Comparing does not mean that we try to belittle the other players' performance.

Tell you what, all those people saying Azzi Fudd was overrated last year are going to eat their words this year. Her potential is off the charts and it's really a beautiful thing the way she plays. Like going to a ballet or something. You nod your head in agreement realizing you're seeing something special. How can she not be in Player of The Year conversations. She doesn't have to shoot it from half court like Clark (who is amazing)...She's not going to miss enough shots to have to rebound those misses like Boston (who is amazing)... but Azzi Fudd has such a quick release, so fundamentally sound that she plays like a basketball machine... if that makes sense. Tell you what, Fudd is going to drop 50 in the very near future if she's allowed to. And she can do it against ranked teams. She needs to develop an air of cockiness like a Boxer or Diana Taurasi. She's way too nice to be so good. She needs to kinda do like Larry Bird and say, "ok, who's here to get 2nd place?". If her teams rises to her level or figures out a way to accommodate her greatness, UConn will return to the top. And I'm not a UConn fan, but Fudd can put UConn back on top if she decides she's gonna take 20-30 shots a game. She just won't miss 10-20 shots. Her form is infallible and she can lean on it in tough times with minimal effort. It's a thing of beauty and I'm really cheering for Fudd. She's a phenom in women's basketball. They should put her on the Olympic team so she can develop even more.
I think teams will be much better come March so dropping 30 wont be so easy..get your points now..

Great player but as a Husky fan I've seen that picture before. The one positive I saw about it was, the first person off the bench to Grace was her coach. Most coaches don't react like that. Get well soon, Grace, I hope it's not as serious as it looked. Some great players now sitting on the sidelines. I'd like these 5 on the floor: Bueckers, Boston, Berger, Brady, and Dorka, and they are all ob the pine.

Anyone who knew about Azzi knows she was more highly regarded than Paige before her knee injury, she is legit and has one of the prettiest jumpers I’ve ever seen from a female basketball player

Nah, Ayanna was fouling a bit too much and he probably didn't want to risk it with Caroline. The depth will be fine as the season goes on, barring more injuries of course.

Well Ducharme one of Uconn starting guard last season is nearly not playing too, she's injured and not playing in the last game. Only play 4 min here

She dropped 29 last game 😴 She was hurt a lot last year, & didn't play as many games to get any kind of rhythm, but I get what you're saying. She was the #1 recruit so the fact that she's started off the season with back to back career high games, everybody's expecting it to continue. But yes, she does still need to keep this up to solidify superstar status. 💯
