  • Congrats on the LIVE podcast on CBS sports. I think Scotties blunder at Houston Open will hurt him at the Masters. I think he will have a problem getting that 2nd jacket cause this maybe the last tournament he plays for a while as his wife Meredith is due at PGA Championship week. It will be interesting to see if LIV players can repeat the success they had at last years Masters. I am looking forward to using the masters app for sure. The access on that site makes it easy. 9x out of 10 I will have that playing at the same as ESPN coverage.

  • Good takes. Also, JT and Bones are parting ways, which wasn't in during this airing. I strongly agreed with Kyle in reference to Scottie not needing to prove himself. He's coming off a Player's win, which is essentially the 5th major and the Arnold Palmer, so Scottie doesn't need to prove anything. Sure, there's always going to be those talking heads, who go on about someone needing to win a major to prove themselves. Then that player wins the major, then when the next one rolls around they're back to square one... we just don't need to listen to those guys, because it's nonsense. These are deep competitive fields. The fact that their are some players who've been able to win multiple majors or events in a year is difficult for me to wrap my head around. Even with players splitting tours, the fields are so much more stacked now then they were 10-15+ years back. And in case some don't know why, it's because the kids during Tigers prime are adults now and Tiger made golf a cool sport to play... golf became accessible to waaaay more people and the types of people who are natural athletes who excel in all sports, whereas previously golf was loaded with your country club kids.

    • The players is longer the 5th major…. With out the main players from liv, it hardly qualifies

    • @@aussiegolfer59 - fair argument. It's still a stacked field with heavy competition, but sure, with a chunk of the top players missing it's a little smaller, but still a really big tournament with a strong field.

  • With Rahm as the only LIV Player ranked in your Top 10, reveals your complete ignorance of the caliber of play in LIV. It further magnifies your prejudice and makes it apparent that you are not capable, at this time, of accurately evaluating the incoming players, the best players in the world. my top 10 includes 5 LIV Golf Tour Players. 1. Rory McIlroy. PGA 2. Scott Shefler. PGA 3. John Rahm. LIV 4. Brooks Koepka. LIV 5. Sergio Garcia. LIV 6. Jordan Spieth. PGA 7. Joaquin Niemann LIV 8. Phil Mickelson. LIV 9. Wyndham Clark. PGA 10. Brian Harman. PGA 11. Dustin Johnson. LIV 12. Patrick Reed. LIV 13. Cameron Young. LIV 14. Xander Schaufle. PGA 15. Bryson DeChambeau. LIV More Importantly Perhaps is 9 of my top 15 this week are LIV Players

    • The phoney world ranking system #1 player at this time last year - didn’t even make the cut at the Masters. The best thing that could happen for all golf professionals - is Phil wins the Maters this year. At #2 last year - he came close. Rory & Scottie are awesome golfers and great guys. They aren’t the problem. The issues in golf were caused by PGAT Executives expensing all the Tours for their personal gains. Why should a executive/leader of a charitable (PGAT) organization ever be paid $17 Million anyway? There is no way to justify that.😀
