  • That I saw live: Antoine Roussel's game-tying hat trick against Tampa in Dallas, 2017. On TV, probably Roussel's penalty shot in Chicago in 2013. His angry intensity and the spark of a pesky, gritty, bruiser getting clutch goals elevated his celebrations.

  • I played baseball growing up, and in baseball, I detest excessive celebrations, although I will grant a “pass” for walk-off wins (particularly in extra innings and even more so in postseason). Hockey is a different beast, however. I still remember my first goal (playing on rollerblades nonetheless) and it was such a thrill! I love the passion of this sport!
