Offroad through Volcanoes with our Pajero 4x4 | Harrat Khaybar, Medina & Al Wabah Crater
Our journey through Saudi brings us to the volcanic region of Harrat Khaybar, where we spend some days exploring with our Pajero and on foot!
We also visit the stunning Black Sands near Al Ais with volcanic stone so fine it looks like a black sand desert from afar and the Al Wabah Crater, a huge crater with a shimmering circular salt crust.
This is our 4th month on the road overlanding the Middle East and Saudi Arabia amazes us once again with its diverse & stunning nature!
We hope that we can give you some nice insights into our journey! We made this little video for friends and family, travel lovers and maybe just for ourselves in a few years to remember our journey through moving images.

Welcome to my country. Saudi Arabia is rich in antiquities, heritage, geological sites and diverse folklore and is building the largest tourism projects in the world. If you have an email, I will help you with in-depth information that the Germans do not know, to understand Saudi Arabia from many aspects: culturally, touristically, heritageally, socially, geologically, anthropologically, etc. Saudi Arabia is one of the richest countries in the abundance of volcanic lava, and currently there is some research to study the production of geothermal energy from volcanic lava in Saudi Arabia, in addition to various types that Saudi Arabia has begun to work on to be an exporting country for different types of energy. I believe there is an initial agreement with the German government to export green nitrogen to Germany. We cannot compete with you, Germans, in the green mountainous areas because your rain falls more than our dry land, lol, but I see many Europeans traveling to the Fifa Mountains in southern Saudi Arabia.
