Billy,Simon,Yanis, and Alex my convent angels. Today’s video is a very busy one. So much to do. I’m glad to see the progress. Well until tomorrow. Take care and stay safe my convent angels. Love ya 🍺🍺🍺🍺🇺🇸🕊👍🙏😇🌞🌈🌹❤️
Always love a cameo visit from Phil. Simon is an awesome craftsman & teacher AND he seems to be a natural on KZhead - You better watch your channel Billy. 😄 Yanis is the textbook definition of apprentice. It's so cool to see him REALLY hungry to learn and to get in there and put in the time. Also - don't think we didn't spot Ryan in the background.....Great Progress, great finds.
Massive garden now it’s been cleared, will look amazing when it’s finished & replanted. Yanis is learning more than just plastering.
I find Simon's energy to be very peaceful and reassuring, ❤
🎉 Happy Friday!
Of the "jewelry" found in the garden, the broken piece that's flat on one side looks like half a buckle.
Lovely job Simon and Yannis 👍🏻 love Simons humour 😂
Oh if walls could talk the tales they could tell and yannis and simon are great together seems like things get done faster 🎉😊😊😊❤
Phil is amazing he makes me laugh so much
The basement entry looks great. I loved Simon's finds from the garden. His idea of a special video featuring garden finds would be fantastic.
As a woman, I've always preferred hanging out with the men while they/we worked to fixed stuff. It's always been way more fun to me. Now that I'm old, I can still do it, thanks to you guys!
I really love the opening shots at the beginning of every video. The convent is such an extraordinary building, I'm so glad you are restoring it, and saving an important piece of history. Well done Billy.
First of all, I’d like to address the beads that Simon found. Those look very very old. They are called seed beads and they are hand blown glass probably from Venice or Japan. really an incredible find and you were right the wire is probably silver. Next the steps going down to the basement look absolutely spectacular. Nice job, Simon and Yannis. Great to see Phil again. He pops up at the best times. Love this one as well, Billy Thank you. 💜😎🤗🫶🇺🇸
Billy, it's too bad Brico doesn't deliver. Or, at least let you order on line to pick up. They must love to see you coming. Love that Simon likes Time Team. It's a fav and am so glad it's back. Hope the weekend clears up for Gwen's party.
Billy you are joking, Gwen would never sell the convent, she love you too much, and because it is just a good investment for the future..and the things you did already at the chateau, really, you got my deepest respect, so much work, with a great results and I hope you will be able in the future to repair the chateau kitchen.. maybe the next step, after finishing the convent….and that floor Simon create masterpiece .
Great montages Alex. I love your dog trying to help Simon. Helper dogs are an important part of life. Nicely done Billy with the step with the help of Simon. Yannis thought ahead and had all of the tools you would need by the looks if it. Good one Yannis. The floor looked beautiful Simon. Great job. I was worried that you were going to hurt your little digger Billy. Thankfully not. Phil was generous in getting the supplies for the party. Billy, Gwendolyn is the love of your life so stop pretending otherwise. 🤭 Thank you. May you all please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
Oh my what a beautiful spectacular floor repair Simon you are an amazing craftsman and teacher to Yannis. Your the golden team at the Chateau 👏👏👏. Looking forward to seeing the progress on the Simons farmhouse as well. Have a well deserved fun weekend all 👏👏👏♥️🇨🇦
The kitchen ceiling looks awesome!!!!!!!!
Simon has done such a great job with jaunis.looks so orthentic. 👏
Thank you all for another week of great videos! I really enjoy all of Alex’s “Convent exploration” footage at the beginning of the videos; always love me a bit of b-roll! Simon’s workmanship with the stonework is just outstanding. In addition to being a skilled tradesman, he also has the gift of being a good speaker and teacher; a real asset to the Crack On Team.
Just on time Phil lol. The renovations are recreating the convent in such a wonderful way, and it’s no wonder with so many talents working on it 😊
I haven't driven a Ford in 35 years and there you are in France driving a US car. As you were driving to Brico I was thinking, "Why doesn't he buy it by the square yard (or meter) and get a truckload. I am in awe of the scope of this restoration work and your persistence. I would have put up drywall in the kitchen and be done with it. Every episode I've learned something useful. With all the craziness in the world you guys give me hope for humanity!
I really like how Alex is doing the videos, music and shots.
I'd frame all the bits and pieces you find during renovations and display them .
The roses look lovely against the convent wall.
What a beautiful job Simon did on the entrance to the cellar. I find him utterly fascinating: his voice is soothing & loved the finds from the garden. Great video today.
The photography is just amazing. That young man is going places with his eye for interesting and detail in this photography. Love this renovation, both the Convent and the Chateau. You are all just amazing, so fun to watch!
Ceiling is Unreal!!! Perfect🎉🎉🎉. Your almost at 300k Billy 🎉🎉Yippie😅 Hope you get your 300k by tomorrow's party!
Simon certainly adds another element of interest to your vlogs !! He has a great knack of providing interesting commentary ❤ 👋 🇦🇺
I love listening to Simon.
You really hit gold when yougot Simon involved with the renovations i do think everyone who is and has helped are amazing but to watch Simon is so calming x well done to you and all i wish you all the luck in the world x
It seems to rain a lot over there.
Simon is so talented he does fantastic work!! He is a true jack of all trades.
Beautiful job on the floor by basement steps. Can’t wait to see the railing in place. Always so much work to do-shoveling sand, tearing out the step, cutting rocks-the work never ends. Very impressive, Guys. Have a fun party this weekend.
I’m so fascinated with all this & how you know to look for the old stone door step. Great finds in the garden too. You guys really are ‘cracking on’ & I’m loving every minute ❤
I love Time Team! Think you guys deserve a beer! Enjoy today’s episode!
In the back of the convent when Billy was doing work back there a woman’s shoe was on the was being dug up. It looked pretty old. It was a buckle shoe. I wonder if he seen that.
Simon us such a craftsman! Yanez is so lucky to learn from him. Keep up the good work guys!
This channel just gets better & better. Bravo to all of you!!
as a bead worker, i love antique beads!
The women are making you keep your promises Billie, finish the apartment and the Chateau rooms. They both will bring in money ……unlike the Convent at present. Have you ever watched the movie “ Monet Pit” 😂🤣😂. Have a lovely weekend all It would be amazing if the basement stairs led to a wine cellar where patrons of the restaurant could choose the wine they’d like with their meal.
Aww come on, he's working so hard. That film had me crying on the floor with laughter....the bath going through the floor, him going down the scaffold and landing in the fountain..my sides ached!!
Depends how high end the restaurant is. 😂
I am kind of secretly in love with Simon! He is so interesting!
You mean NOT so secret now😃😂
😂😂😂😂
Ceramics last for 1000s of years so the thought to date pottery shards is spot on!
Panning over the ceiling in the opening and I was struck at how nice the ceiling looks now.
Never disappointed with the content here!
The new floor looks amazing! Well done!
If someone had told me 5 years ago I would be quite simply mesmerized by a guy tearing up a door opening in France I would have laughed at them. Yet here I am, looking forward to the daily KZhead activity and glued to my laptop screen!!!
It's easy to trust your measurements Billy, because 9 times out of 10 you ARE spot on 😊
