  • You are a hunter man.

  • You made the right move. My dad always said go to natural open water rather than open a hole. That advice has always paid off as your move showed!

  • Ice storms and Frozen ponds and your still seeing teal, that's crazy. Our season in LA has been a struggle this year, I've killed 87 and believe me I had to work for them. 1 more week left for us. Hopefully I get to 100...By the way, I respect the hell out of yall, yall work hard for your birds and show the good, the bad and the ugly. Keep it up my brotha.

    • Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me. The teal had all gone south of us until we had a warm up the first part of January. They came back north as the reverse migration has begun.

  • I just don’t understand how you don’t get the views and subscribers compared to other KZhead duck hunters. Your videos show the reality of duck hunting, there’s no hip hop jackwagonry in these videos like the other bro-yo-yo hunting limitzzzz videos. This is real duck hunting, keep up the great work. You guys inspire those of us who don’t have a trust fund to withdrawal from or outfitters to stage hunts for us.

    • Thank you TW. I think a lot of guys aren’t looking for real. They prefer fast action and huge piles.

  • The black lab really stands out in a snowy landscape. Maybe that’s what the ducks were spotting.

  • We hunted the exact same day on the farm pond but the wind kept kept our whole open. We shot nine mallards that morning between two of us should’ve had 10. But we had some poor shooting. I am envious you been hunting 28 times. I think I’ve been out 10 or 11. Keep up the good work glad your dog is doing better. If you remember my dog also had ACL surgery she’s doing well. It’s just not the same without them. Perhaps next season You can travel to my region and we can hunt together or vice a versa.

    • Our hunt was so frustrating. If the ice had just held off an hour or two longer we should have shot our limit. I just closed on us so quickly.

  • I find it odd and kinda distrubing the way people keep "score" of the Ducks they kill as if they are playing football game. Im thinking if sheer numbers an important factor then Id kill every Duck that came in range. Oh hey everyone Ive killed 150 Ducks this year!!! Yay me! What does it matter? But I have a very hard time understanding the mind set of most hunters. Seems its a very different mind set from the old timers who took the time to teach me about hunting. I was taught to b respectful and grateful for each and every life I take. I never heard any one "bragging" or even talk about how many Waterfowl they killed.

    • Keeping track of how many ducks you kill is disturbing?? People including myself like to keep track of numbers they kill so can compare it to years past. So what?

      @SteveNunz@SteveNunz5 жыл бұрын
    • Sam, I do understand that you are trying to say. But it is possible to be grateful, respectful, and full appreciate each life you take, while still recording how many and of what species you have harvested. It's not either or. I LOVE the birds I harvest and even feel a slight sadness at times having a cripple in my hands. That doesn't mean I cannnot enjoy that stats side of waterfowl hunting.
