i can't believe that lebanon is facing such hardship. i'm glad for the people who have a skill and still strive to make a living doing what makes them money. the lady who use to have a shop before as a seamstress would put her skills to work to make money for the family.
I have booked a ticket for lebanon on the 23 of july, to go on a cheap luxuruious vaccation, but after seeing this, i will be canceling my ticket and sending the money to care ! Please help Libanon 🙏

Recently, every morning as I am on my way to work, I've thought about Lebanon. And the hardships the beautiful ppl there going through.

@@irenemulindwairen4138 The misery and suffering in Lebanon is caused by the same underlying cause as in Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and all the other Arab countries from Morocco to Pakistan---Israel.

Iam checking then country and want to know more about the country.I loved the cuisine which is very rsrely found in our country.But my daughter has Labanese father in law and who ofen give us Labanese food.I'm so much symphatised of the country's economic conditions which affect the majority.I can only pray to Allah to lift the burden of the people. The Lebanon worships the Christ, the Jewish King, but at the same time , curses Israël. This is the result. Europe is facing the same problem, which is the poverty and violence by Islam.

What a beautiful piece of work.. Thank you for shining the light on these poor souls.. The sad thing is that they are all smart sensible people who got into a bad living situation because of corrupt politians destroying this once beautiful thriving country. ... I pray for them all find a better life moving forward.
everyone of them have that super painful smile that i very much known intimately, a peak of depression that make you unable to do anything else but to smile... i regret watching this clip, so desperately regretting watching this, i have my own demon to face, i really cant afford to add other people sorrow to my own

All of these people have beautiful souls the old man on the street, the boy who had to sell his phone, the blind mum, the seamstress as well as the girl who was left by her parents. My heart goes out to all the good people in Lebanon. They are so poor but they have God in their hearts to see them through. It would be very good to let people get in contact if they want to help......

if you eat 3 times a day be grateful, never complain about your job if it can provide you you're daily need because theirs someone suffering more than you are.

Lebanon...Beirut was once known as the Paris of the Middle East. I feel so sad about what has happened to this entire Region. I wish that the Dunya was not so cruel and heartless about people who suffer so much....everywhere, I shun Cruises, because my heart aches for these regions. Lebanon can be saved. My hearts goes to them. The old man that living under the bridge, 4 months not taking a shower!! Oh my gosh... 😭 it's very sad. Get a shower and stay clean is a basic needs. 90% the value of their fiat money gone.... in very short of time,oh my gosh. My heart goes to that young girl, remind me of my daughter. She still try to put a smiles even when she want to cry... I am so emotional to see this movie. I really want to help her. Also the young man that helping his father and selling his cellphone. I know cellphone is secondary, but living in the current times, cellphone becomes our daily life. You need to have a cellphone in orders to get a job. I don't understand why the country going in such a downslide? The government need to do something. I think... one's of the way... Lebanon need cryptocurrency for helping their economy. They also need Farms, rising chickens or fish.

This is a very new and exceptional phenomena in Lebanon...we are not a society where there has always been homeless/clochards as in France or the US...elderly were never abandoned that way

Some of homeless people lives under bridges, like dawra and cola bridge. If you're a lebanese or you know a lebanese that you trust, you can go personally and help them. We've been touched by these people because we learned their stories but every poor person in lebanon has his own said story.

If not for the resilience and the enormous capacity of the Lebanese people to absorb hardship, this country would have imploded a long time ago.

We cannot just run in and "help". There needs to be an agreed plan. Otherwise the help will last a month then square one

What to say when own countrymen shattered a country, rob dreams from them, destroy the lives of the innocent... They earned the blood money and may they face the wrath for it...
I cried yesterday talking with my partner how ‘lucky' we are in Germany meanwhile our brothers and sisters. Humans just like you and me at e suffering in Lebanon, Iraq (no electricity), Venezuela, Palestine, Yemen (I pray for them every day)...and many many more. How can we be happy when they suffer? Don’t they deserve a chance to live aswell?? This world and all the money is cursed
To me Israel is directly responsible for all the misery and suffering in the Arab countries, from Morocco in the west to Pakistan in the East.
With so many videos about what is happening in Lebanon, what is missing is the video about the ruling administration. Where are they? What are their plans to get out of this mess that is happening in Lebanon? Make them accountable for what they have done. The people should be angry enough to kick them out of power and then confiscate their properties. They are the only one who became rich in Lebanon.

Chadi, the boy helping his whole family, got my heart. I understand his pain of having to work & work to provide (sacrifice for his family - ex: his phone, which is a treat young people are thrilled to have)…starting from youth. Sometime tell that ladyto sell her things on Etsy and get some foreign money coming in. Pay in dollars or sterling so money goes further
Last time I checked , Etsy does not transfer money to LB bank accounts :/
It is not that simple, this privilege's of the first world is not found in Lebanon. No stable internet, not even stable electricity how can you run an online business. Shipping is not available you can't just go to your local post office and ship products. Too much corruption and high costs makes it impossible for simple people without connections to do anything
Paypal, etsy, redbubble and depop do not work over here, th currency is too weak and the banks do not let us withdraw over a certain amount so it's not worth it for these companies to put any sort of money in third world countries. Online retailing, as an independent creator is impossible, If as an exemple, i wanted to sell my art, i can't send it abroad, even the post office is unreliable. I would need to contact a private shipping company, which charges ridiculously for shipping outside of lebanon, and money would have to go through OMT, where it would be devalued. And since the average lebanese person doesnt have art or clothing in their priorities anymore, unless I settle for prices that won't even pay back the supplies i used, nobody's gonna buy it.
The best we can do here in the west is to count our blessings firstly and secondly help people who are in need...stop wasting our money and energy on pointless materials and help humans in real need

Most of the country citizens are abroad. If they send 20$ a day to back home in 3 months there will be no issues in the country. But yeah what we can do right?

There are a number of initiatives on the ground. If you’re going to help try and donate to NGO’s or initiatives that don’t go through the government as corruption is very much alive. @@naregterzian9211; the site seems basic because it’s a newly launched crowd funding website 100% owned and operated by Lebanese with no political affiliations. The issue isn’t a lack of help for Lebanon it’s how to get it directly to the most vulnerable and the only way to do that is to give to entities that have nothing to do with the government or corrupt elite. Kuwait sent plane loads of food and medicine. The food and medicine sent by Kuwait (which was clearly marked on the packaging and boxes) was later found in supermarkets and pharmacies. Turns out that the government cronies had trucks waiting on the tarmac at Beirut International Airport. You can’t make this up 😂😂😂 Hollywood quality!

@@cecil123 fr I've lived in the US as a kid and currently live in leb, and trust me anyone living in the US complaining about life there should be deported, yes there may be some issues but lots of them are solvable, while in leb it's pure destruction.
