We decided to call this series Minecraft Manhunt. This video is a different rendition of it, where there is a SPY instead of just a normal speedrunner.
This is a new Minecraft but, 1.16 challenge that we have decided to try. I try to beat the game, while my friend Dream tries to prevent me from doing it. It's a race, and it's super intense and we had a lot of laughs. I love doing these challenges.
If this video gets 1,000,000 likes we'll do something crazier.
Not Minecraft, But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other but challenge like that. This is a speed run / speed runner of Minecraft against a killer / assassin

i think that the runner has the advantage. The hunter has to go to the runner and cant rely as much on traps and tricks. The runner knows that the hunter has to come for them and its easier to plan and set up traps

It is easier to run away from hunters and set up traps rather than the other way around, just saying. Also Dream tends to get cocky as the hunter and die a few times.

Ikr normally every manhunt George dies the most, yet he survives for hours when Dream is the hunter.
The fact that at the beginning Dream accurately knew what George's health was at just shows how experienced he is.

Tbh these "clutches" aren't that hard in both ways. It took Dream alot of time to get where he is today. Back in 2020 he used to die in 1v1 combat against George. Anybody can be as good as Dream, just do what he even says he does. Watch tiktok, reddit, practise against the dragon (back in the early days Dream couldn't beat the ender dragon).
how is no one talking about 27:31?? George barely dodged the arrow, a pigman took a bullet for him, and he got teleported right as it was about to hit him all within a few seconds. That might be one of the luckiest sequences iv seen in any manhunt. The majority of dreams clutches involve mostly skill, but george was just running unaware of how close he was to death THREE TIMES.
I love how the twists on dreams channel make it harder for him, but the twists on George's channel just make it easier for him

@@hightimetrev i mean yeah, at some point you’re right. although they’ve said that some uploaded manhunts weren’t the first try and they obviously wouldn’t post one where the speedrunner is killed shortly after starting the run (they had to keep potentially good runs because of this). some of those could’ve been good endings too, but you can tell george actually escaped dream in most cases and it wasn’t just for the content (not to mention dream doesn’t actually know how low george is).
That and the various clutches and escaped he pulled. Truly someone who has mastered the art.

I like how George literally has one of the best tools for seeing through lies and tricks and he literally just... doesn't use it after he kills dream at the stronghold. He could have seen if Dream had a spare chest at spawn, how far he was from the stronghold, literally anything that could be useful while he was looking for the portal, and he just didn't.
You need to remember its george. Out of all the hunters in the previous manhunts he had the tendency to be the least skilled and sometimes the "dumbest" one Besides: as the "bed sequence", among other things prove: they are not taking any of this seriously

I was not expecting that ending, that was so clever of Dream! But he was also very lucky too, I think now that George knows to check the map more often, it'll be harder to trick him George did really well too, the slab trap and last-second clutches in the nether were certainly Dream-worthy, I really enjoyed this Manhunt!
Even if he had checked map, what was he gonna do? No matter what there was still an insane PvPer waiting for him in the end portal. Dream could just check the map and get out of the way if George tried TnT or dripstone.
I did expect that. The second George ckecked Dream's chest and there was nothing there, I thought that could be a fake base meant to be found by George. And then when Dream said he was at spawn, he lacked disappointed in his voice which made me think he was indeed acting and up to something lol
@@Medlek Same man, I thought that dream died too easily, if he was at a heart with no food, he would probably go up and get food cause then he would have a better chance of beating George in the end which is better than straight up dying, I wasn't 100% sure when Dream died but my suspicions were cleared once I saw the empty chest and the length of the video

I know some people think these are cringe or bad. I've never been a big dream team fan but these videos make me feel so good. They remind me of pre covid when dream wasn't very popular yet. These are some of the only videos my older brother watches with me and it's nice to get to do something with him. Manhunt got him back into Minecraft so we've been playing together
Ikr I’m so glad to have been apart of the random pre covid. I still remember when he would go live often and let chat pick what he would do and the smp would be an option, but it wouldn’t get chosen since it wasn’t popular yet, so they’d play block shuffle live lol. I miss those chill stream days, especially with Alyssa and Callahan.
