Whether these are hurricanes, floods, sandstorms, earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes - we're definitely down for some cool natural disasters. So long as they don't happen in real life and don't kill any real people, of course.

Hi
WatchMojo.com I don’t want Just cause 4
Is this a reup load
Make top ten most dangerous gangs in the world or USA
Do events inspired by movies
So they include Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and The Wizard of Oz, but not San Andreas or 2012. Ok.
😂true
And, Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones!
Dante’s peak
10.0 cat 6 and cat 7 there is millions of these types of videos
@@TheMiercat i watched that movie 1 to many times lmao
The impossible should have been number 1. Because it really happened. No movie on this list was more realistic, or better than this movie.
I totally agree. Just a matter of time before they make movie of the earthquake and tsunamis in Japan. I hope it's done as good.
The Perfect Storm,also really happened.
grannynara If we go by the logic that The Impossible came 8 years after the event, then a movie about the Japan tsunami should come in... 2019
@@dundee6402 I'm waiting!
Noah Stone except the movie twister
Natural Disaster. "Spaghetti Tornado"
😂
Yeah that ain't a NATURAL DISASTER buddy!
That’s not “natural” disaster...
@@zionh789 its totaly natural
XDD
The Day After Tomorrow was very underrated. It had amazing visuals. The Impossible, Earthquake, The Perfect Storm, White Squall and SHARKNADO were impressive movies too
not Sharknado
irina1296 I would’ve added the eruption from Pompeii, especially since it was mostly based on the real eruption of Vesuvius
irina1296 natural disasters are underrated in general. They are massively terrifying and most people see a tornado on screen or sit near Yellowstone and say "natural disasters? What's so harmful about them?" Forgetting that natural disasters can rip away a life on mere seconds, only coming to terms when they are faced with such a disaster. We seem not to fear it until it occurs because we have come to terms with the existence of such dangers.
The Day After Tomorrow and 2012 are both my favourite movies. They are both equally terrifying and amazing works of art. I've seen both many times.
@@gnatty.b same oh gosh. Especially 2012. Kept watching it
I was watching ‘The Impossible’ just as i got the notification for this. My personal FBI agent knows whats up.
he got your back fam
I think you blew his cover 😮
I agree with your picks but was 2012 really not in a single one of these?
I forgot about that movie
Right? I was thinking the same! And where was San Andreas? Both were really depressing movies.
"extreme weather" was there any extreme weather in 2012? all i remember are a several earthquakes, several volcanoes, and a mega-tsunami
@@quasarstorm4009 Tbf, it’s says “extreme weather and natural disasters”, so 2012 should’ve definitely been in here.
@@miah8742 Why does youtube give me a notification about a reply to a comment I made a year ago, but not when my favorite youtuber uploads?
So the movie 2012 should have at least been mentioned. The whole first act is the literal destruction of the majority of the world through natural disasters.
Patrick Brown I know it should of been
Ikr
The first act? The entire movie was about that
san andreas was also epic on the destruction. All of San fran just drops then a massive tsunami takes out the golden gate bridge.
They did show a clip from 2012 at the beginning of the video, even though it wasn't one of the top 10
I Love THE Impossible Is SUCH A GREAT film!Naomi Watts is Fantastic in IT.......And So is The Young Tom Holland. HES SUCH A GOOD actor.........The recreation of the Tsunami WAS so INCREDIBLE in THE FILM........
Great OBSERVATION I would LIKE to see THIS movie AS well
Just watched. It is an amazing film!!
Human: accidentally gets some plastic in the water Water: *peace was never an option*
When i saw the thumbnail, it made me remember what happened in that movie *ITS FRICKIN' SAD!*
I HONESTLY THOUGHT IT WAS A HAPPY FILM
I thought the family reunited at the end??
@@hanaschmidt9465 yes but the movie is still sad
It makes me get sad because I know it happened for real, and many didn't survive.
What is the title OF That movie?pls tell me
Mother Nature...⛅☔⚡❄🌋🌀...beautiful, intriguing...yet deadly...
"Natural Disasters" *Shows spaghetti Tornado*
So tell us when was the last time we had a spaghetti twister?
The eruption Dante's peak
Mr Egg that should’ve been on the list although I would’ve gone with the eruption of Mount Vesuvius from Pompeii
And Volcano (1997). Eruption took place at Los Angeles.
glad somebody else brought up this movie...after it was shown in science class i always gotta watch it on TV if i see it
Hans Oosterhout true but that eruption looked like crap by comparison to the ones from Dante’s Peak and Pompeii, I’d give the one from Pompeii extra points for being based on the actual destruction of Pompeii. The movie did add the lava bombs and tsunami but the real eruption did have the the rest of the features that the cinematic one did
...I’m watching that right now
The impossible is underrated
OK CAMPIONE it’s so sad
Those underwater scenes in The Impossible where the people are being pelted with debris still make me shiver, and I've seen the movie like 3 times
I heard Tom Holland, and I was like “WAIT WHAT”, I went back and paused, and it really is him! That’s actually really cool.
The Day After Tomorrow: New York scene was better imo.
Yes,thy could also do a top ten times the Statue of Liberty got wasted.
Agreed. The constant cuts in and out of Hollywood take us out of the moment too much, while the New York flooding keeps you with the characters.
Agree. They show New York more than Hollywood.
The Norwiegen movie 'The Wave' is amazing. Was on Netflix for a time
Woah, not even a mention to Dante's Peak?
It does mention in another video
I personally liked “Into the Storm”
4:03 When you're bored and just installed a tornado mod in gta 5
im so glad they added the day after tomorrow into the list its one of my favourite movie
I hope your being sarcastic lol
Same!
The Impossible was so good!I remember that only time I saw it,and I cried for Naomi Watts when she was in the hospital, and for the family when they reunited;I couldn't stop, even after the credits rolled. That's how good the movie was!
Where was San Andreas?
Exactly!!!!!!
YEAH!!! SERIOUSLY!!
Lmao, you must have seen some really shitty movies to wanna include that crap anywhere near the top 10
Really!! Come on! That movie had natural disaster written all over it!!!
WHERE IS ARMAGEDDON?
San Andreas, Deep Impact, 2012... You’re missing a few of THE best, and replacing them with the likes of...Sharknado? Really guys?
how in the Hell is "2012" NOT on this list!!???
The impossible is BRUH

Love weather movies! The Day After Tomorrow is an all time favorite!
1. Actually, "Twister" takes place in Oklahoma. 2. The film is a guilty pleasure. 3. Was expecting the wave from "The Poseidon Adventure" on this list. Oh, well.
Yeah, a nice shot of that guy falling onto the big glass window would've been great.
Thank you I posted the same thing
Thank you. I said the same thing about the Twister movie.
I honestly thought that Dante Peak would be in their cause Mount St Helens did erupt
Ahhhhhh the impossible never gets old its a great movie
I watched the Impossible with my friends the other day for the first time and we were going insane it was so good
RIP THE COWS THAT FELL OFF A BRIDGE REST IN PEACE MY FRIENDS

#1: California, present day. (Not a movie)
Philippines
Cuz the fire

Dante's Peak Pyroclastic Flow?
That's a volcano, not a natural weather disaster. There's a difference.
@@RpGfreak901 it said.. "Weather" "and" "Natural Disaster" not "natural weather disaster"
Right, they included both Earthquakes and Tsunamis which are both Natural Disasters and have nothing to do with weather. I would expect Volcanos to be also included.
CORRECTION-Twister did NOT take place in Kansas-It was Oklahoma
Kansas is in Oklahoma

Yes, you included twister, thank you
This video was fun to watch
HOLY SHIIIT I DIDNT KNOW TOM HOLLAND WAS IN THE IMPOSSIBLE!!
The perfect storm, A day after tomorrow, Impossible.... I can never watch enough of these great movies.
It's 2020. Watched all MCU films with Spidey Tom on it. Became his fan. Then realized that he's the eldest son on one of my fav natural hazard movie "The Impossible" 😂😂😂 Thanks Mojo 😅
2012? San Andreas?
What?!?! John Cusack's limousine escape through LA/Hollywood to outrun the breaking of the tectonic plate, from 2012, isn't on this list?! Nothing from 2012 is on this list?! Thoroughly disappointed.
Enjoyable list as I love natural disaster films
Yay more vids
If dantes peak isnt on this I'll actually be mad.
The impossible is the greatest the acting is so good and the devastation look so real and it make me cry and to have hope And I just released the eldest is acted be tom Holland Love you Spider-Man great acting
How to survive? Truth: Go to space Myth: Be the camera man
Out of all of these movies I wasn't expecting Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs to be on this list XD
Where is San Andreas???
Jurassic world fallen kingdom' s volcano?
Nah, I prefer the Pompeii movie one
Zaimin Nosi especially since it’s based on the real event, Vesuvius might not have done a few of the things that were in the movie (like the fireballs and possibly the tsunami) but the devastation was extreme
Who else started cheering for Twister! And it takes place all in OOooooklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains... And the waving wheat.
Dante's Peak, 2012, Volcano...... hell even Armageddon would have made better choices than a spaghetti tornado.
Whats more dangerous: Hail the size of meteors An Ice storm that makes us Corp sicles A Spaghetti (Spaghet) Tornado Or a regular tornado WatchMojo.com: A regular tornado

Pompei was pretty disastrous.
grannynara and it gets bonus points for being largely based on the actual eruption of Vesuvius. It really showed just how dangerous Mount Vesuvius can really be by comparison to most other volcanoes in the present. seriously, Vesuvius is considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world even by comparison to super volcanoes like Yellowstone and Lake Toba
Thats the list? Seriously? Where are volcanic from 2012 and Dante's Peak, tsunami scenes from The day after tomorrow or San Andreas; Earthquakes from San Andreas or 2012...they definitely should be included in that list...
yo man, we have very similar taste. I agree with you completely.
Or The Super Freeze scenes from The Day After Tomorrow
The Tsunami and Earthquake in 2012 was untouchable!!!!
Every distaster movie:one disaster Geostorm and the day after tomorrow : MUTIPLE DISATER
Damn no 2012 ?
When are you gonna give San Andreas praise for its stunning visuals!???
OLiG Gaming I’d say the same for Pompeii, the eruption scene was pretty realistic even if it deviated from what the actual eruption in 79 AD since the real event didn’t have lava bombs or a tsunami. Either way it was a very realistic depiction of an explosive volcanic eruption
No
3:15- now THAT'S what you call a pasta spiral! XD

Cool
2012 is so unrealistic
Yeah but I took perverse pleasure in watching California get wiped out. Too many people there completely destroying the West Coast.
@@grannynara why?
@@emiliomanueldepedro9650 Because California once upon a time used to be a lovely place to live. Now it's running out of water, people are building up into the hills and mountains, threatening wildlife, pollution is awful, the number of vehicles out on the highways and byways is staggering. I grew up in Northern California, and lived in LA, and Southern California. No desire to return, just way too many humans.
@@grannynara calm down. Today, the mayority of mankind is taking care of eniroment. From people who recycle, passing through forest rangers and lots of enviromental organizations, to Enviromental Protection Agencies around the world (yes. The goverments care so much about enviroment that they have FEDERAL AGENCIES dedicated SPECIFICALLY to protect them). Pollition is reducing with every day, and i believe that someday, pollution will be history. You see, i am realistic. I know there is bad people who polutes, but all those guys are nothing compared to all mankind. By the other way, there are lots of wildlife reserves dedicated entirely to protect lots of animal species.
@@grannynara besides, there are lots of places where you're demerited or even arrested simply for throwing trash in the street.
Hell yeah Twister!
WatchMojo: "let's do a list about extreme weather and natural disasters" Also WatchMojo: Spaghetti tornado...
Recommendation brought me here so I’ll leave a recommendation. The Wave is a good disaster flick. Story of a landslide causing a wave wiping out a Scandinavian town.
3:16 Mario: MAMA MIA
ITS THE WONDER OF NATURE BABY WHOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!
To be honest, volcanoes possibly have the greatest potential for disaster films. The way they work makes for great film material. I find Dante’s Peak to be one of the best disaster films out there since it’s not over-the-top AND is based (loosely) on a real event (the 1980 Mt. St. Helens eruption).
Yes I needed to know that
Dante's Peak should have made the list imo. That movie was great at building tension and making me feel nervous.
