  • This actually got me emotional. It was stunning. Just beautiful. She can truly sing and show emotion and confidence and even vulnerability. It was absolutely mesmerizing. I will rewatch right now. Miley: Even if you do not read this, you will get the energy. As I have watched you grow and share yourself so rawfully with the world, I have grown to respect you tremendously. I am always inspired by people who know themselves so well that they are willing to be themselves fully despite society or parents, whatever that means in the moment, without apologies, and with total openness and vulnerability, learning and growing from the yin and the yang and letting yourself be seen, despite how uncomfortable it may have been at first. As a mother of an 18 year old who I have seen go through a lot of this herself, and is an amazing shining star, it just leaves me in awe of the will and inner knowing that people like you all already come in to the world with...a knowing that it needs to be fully expressed. It is such a special process. I am almost 50 now and just now getting it and getting to know myself and love myself. It is so interesting to find that nothing resonated with the present day me so I had to shave my head and get rid of all my clothes, more friends, and get down to zero attachments. Literally starting from scratch. But I am doing it in Hawaii where I had always dreamt of being. Five months so far. :-) That is what you have done all the time because that is life, each day is a new opportunity for self expression and that can mean anything. Sitting quietly by water and crying and laughing to yourself, or singing in front of thousands of focused souls. Or changing your wardrobe, music style. Whatever. You are touching people. Nice work! You are so awesome. And of course, I also watched many HM shows with my daughter and watched you, like others, go through the toughest years fully exposed.
