AMD is a lot more efficient and runs considerably cooler than Intel Alder lake. Which is why many laptop reviews are very happy that more companies are adopting AMD chips. Furthermore, their APU iGPU is very good.
Yeah. AMD normally has a good balance in efficiency/price/etc. I think maybe Jez has not been updated in that market for a while because they used to be bad in power output.
Man, I’d love to have the Otogi series remade. I’d also love legacy of Kain blood omen to be remade and updated.

valve had ads in counter-strike 1.6 (a "premium" game) back in the day, for their games AND for third parties like server hosting services. they were in the spectator UI and/or just slapped onto the maps like murals. quake live too, under zenimax (a f2p game, granted - the ads were part of the business model).

As far as adding haptic feedback for the Elite Series 3, I think a lot more games would add Haptic features in them because 90%+ of games are multiplat games. So as long as they are already making the feature for PS5, they would be able to add the haptic vibration part (not the trigger part) pretty easy. I mean DeathLoop has Haptic enabled for the PS5 version and as far as I know it wont be part of the Xbox version, and that game is made by an xbox studio. I think it would be a good feature to up sell a new version of the Elite Controller.

Rand you forgot that xbox had another change before the 4 years xbox one x they had the xbox one s that also have HDR which was not possible on the original Xbox One. I wouldn't mind BR in Halo Infinite as long as they add Forge and other needed community features first.

The only reason why CoD multiplayer gets regular MP and WarZone content as a constant pipeline is because Activision converted their roster of studios into CoD Content Factories. I can’t see them being able to do the same with 343i and CA pumping out content in equal measure for the BR and the Arena modes at the same rate that other live service games are able to do because of this.
The developer probably didn't realise that people can download the games through web browser and does not require a Playstation 5. (And if that the case, Sony would hide that fact during the negotiation.

1:09:30 - There isn't gonna be a mid gen refresh. It's only ever happened once and it was purely to capitalise on the rise of 4K. The refresh specifically happened because of 4K. Now seeing as 8K adoption is going to be miniscule for the next decade, there will be no refresh. It's just common sense.
The F2P Halo should have been a separate game and not a part of Halo Infinite Campaign.
Lumping both achievements together is annoying. I won’t play multiplayer simply because i don’t like free to play.

Regarding the Activision deal, I am not an expert by any means, but I feel that if Activision's shareholders approve the deal, it will be hard for the FTC to try to block the deal considering the fact that they already allowed Microsoft to acquire Zenimax. I understand that the FTC defines the "market" this time around as "gaming subscription services" rather than the whole of gaming. I'm not sure if they did so in the Zenimax merger, and that might affect how they review the deal.

I think honestly what a Battle Royal does that will truly help Halo Infinite out... A battle Royal will make the need to new maps constantly be way less in demand. As we have seen with the output of content so far with Halo Infinite, consistent bundles of quality content has been Halo's biggest weakness obviously. A cool Battle Royal, even if it doesn't have a unique take on it... As long as it is fun, and their are not a shit load of cheaters, that will quiet up much of the media and Twitter chatter about how the game is dead and players have no reason to play. A battle Royal AND the addition of a independent leveling system that has nothing to do with your battle pass. That will solve Halo's main problems, or at least buy them a lot of time... Very much looking forward to this when it comes out this Holiday (fingers crossed)

We already have ads in game. An ad in a game does not need to be something that stops your experience (like TV). Monster drink in Death Stranding is a clear example and there are many more that are very subtle but still there. They probably are trying to think of new ways to do it.
