I actually go into some detail about that on my IG page @clique_collection Even in 2012, he's felt about RAB as demo record way before Vessel was released.
Jacob Lyons Yeah, if I’m correct, in an interview, he called RaB a “glorified mixtape.” I understand where he’s coming from, though, because it was used for promotion mostly around the time they released it. They were playing a few festivals and small venues and probably just needed to show their potential in those songs. But I like RaB nonetheless
@@kaii8985 You're absolutely correct and I only know that because I've seen every TØP interview and he has said that. It's also no surprise that the band sent both of the albums (ST and RAB) in a duo pack to radio stations, to promote their music.

i feel like i’m the only one who started sobbing when tyler told the story about how he was at his little family reunion and his mom pulled out the keyboard and how he had a little moment and how it started it all (his passion for music) and it just made me realize that they have made it so far so now it’s 3 AM on a school night and i’m sobbing 😎✌🏻

My daughter, she was the 2nd one who asked them a question, yellow long sleeve Trench shirt and my other daughter, sitting by her to her left and I...I was sitting a few rows back were there...they were able to get a pic with them after, I think they were a little nervous but the boys are so humble it just makes it natural...at least to me. They answered all the questions exactly like I thought they would. We had seen them in Nashville, TN (1st show) we live in Indianapolis, IN...from TN we had to go to Columbus,GA for my daughter's boyfriend's graduation from Basic at Fort Benning in GA...she got a call the day before the St. Louis,MO concert telling her she was chosen to ask her question...she was like "who's calling me from Missouri?" When she fell to her knees sobbing...I knew...we had tickets already for that concert but the interview was at 12:45pm...needless to say that whole week was totally awesome! I was totally exhausted! But it's totally worth it...if you haven't yet been able to attend a Trench concert...listen to what Tyler says before they play "Iris". He makes up a new story about Josh each time. We probably won't be able to see them again until June...and I can't wait. Unfortunately my daughter who is 18 gets, what may be a real thing idk, Post concert depression..this time was worse cause she saw them in Nashville then the interview and then the concert that night in St.Louis...she was very hard to deal with for a week or so after. Just be ready for it! Lol!

The interviews I've seen so far for TRENCH have been so quality and in depth. No more silly game questions like would you rather. And you can tell the guys are so here for it too, especially when it's fans asking the questions and not the radio host trying to talk the whole time like they already know everything they're gonna say. Ugh. I just love everything about all of this. (Except for that one interview i heard where the host mentioned Clancy and ty was like "how do you know about him" and he was like "We listened to the record!" And tyler was just like "Clancy isn't on the record" that was beautifully awkward.)

I started singing legend today during lunch and through 4th through 7th I was so down I was just singing it loud and I had my head Down....I pick my head back up my friend was in front of me with a box of tissues...saying "everything will be fine Tyler is ok his grandfather will always be with him in spirit" I just cried my eyes out I was sobbing 💛😭💛

I think it would be a beautiful moment to perform Legend and the whole crowd sings along to it. What a Tribute that would be. Hopefully he finds the strength to do it, maybe just for his home crowd.

When Tyler stated "that it's really about being in two different places. Feeling like you should leave one place, but you're not really sure where you're supposed to be going or where you're headed," really struck a chord with me. That's exactly how I have felt for a very long time, and the next step is where I am stuck. It's the fear of change. When he said those words, my eyes welled up with tears. The struggle is real and yet just as important. I can't write the feeling off as nothing and just stay stuck, yet it is more comfortable to do so. It's the purpose behind the why. Why are we here, why did we choose the paths we took? Why do we feel like something is missing? Did we miss it? What is it? Then I look down at my dogs and just wish for a life like theirs, but then the challenge would be who will let me out? I really have to pee. LOL I should get some sleep, but then the challenge is getting my brain to shut up so that I can sleep peacefully.
my boy Tyler saying that my wonderful country of New Zealand and visiting Hobbiton were one of his favourite experiences made my day.

The first instrament I played was a keyboard that my mom had bought at a yard sale 10 years before I was born. I was 8 and the first song I learned was my heart will go on because the teacher said so. (She's not my teacher anymore.) I named the keyboard Lollipop and 5 years later my mom threw her away with out telling me.

Since Tyler said Leave the City was about his struggle with Christianity, I wonder if the city represents religion or the absence of it. The way the bishops run it seems as if it is a metaphor for people making their own beliefs that do not include God and going their own way, but the way he speaks of it, it may be the opposite.
Yeah.☺ I can't stop thinking about that song, Morph, my own relationship with God, what I should do with my life before it's over, and all that.

@@gracestevens1201 no, he hasn't left it. This album was experimenting with the idea of a life without christianity, which to me looks pretty bad as Dema. He said in a recent interview that he still considers himself a Christian, but hes struggling because, as it says in Leave The City, "it's only time before they show me why no one ever comes back with details from beyond." People dont come back from the dead and say theres an afterlife, so theres no true way to be sure there is.
KitKatPlus as a fellow Christian that has also recently struggled will pray for him to have faith. The thing is I know what it feels like to struggle with that sort of thing. I feel like If there was no God that I would be in DEMA (Depression) right now. I will continually pray for him. Now I don’t know your beliefs so I’m going to stop ranting.
