Marilyn Monroe sings "I Wanna Be Loved By You" in "Some Like It Hot"(Con Faldas Y A Lo Loco,Una Eva Y Dos Adanes)
Lyrics:
"I Wanna Be Loved By You"
I wanna be loved by you, just you,
Nobody else but you,
I wanna be loved by you, alone,
Poo poo bee doo,
I wanna be kissed by you, just you,
Nobody else but you,
I wanna be kissed by you, alone
I couldn't aspire,
To anything higher,
Than to feel the desire
To make you my own
Paah-dum paah-dum pa-doodly-dum poooo!
I wanna be loved by you, just you,
Nobody else but you,
I wanna be loved by you, alone
I couldn't aspire,
To anything higher,
Than to feel the desire
To make you my own
Paah-dum paah-dum pa-doodly-dum poooo...
I wanna be loved by you, just you,
Nobody else but you,
I wanna be loved by you,
Paah-deedly-deedly-deedly-dum,
Poo poo bee doo!

  • Marilyn was not just a sex symbol. She was not just her looks. She was a talented woman who could deliver humor, passion, despair, and hope, all with just a glance. She was an ACTRESS through and through.

    • I agree! I think God looked upon her and graced her with timeless beauty. She had a very difficult life growing up as a child. It seemed as though she was being tossed to and from place to place from a very young age and did not have her Mother or Father in her life. I do believe that some took advantage of her and that her life ended too soon. I cried knowing that she passed away so young because she was a very gifted actress, singer and exceptionally Beautiful! I will look at her differently now after watching her in some of famous movie clips, I fell in love with the whole of who she was and what she brought into the world .

Yes, she was a Hollywood invention from the raw material which was Norma Jean Baker, but she became an eternal gift for us all. One of the most inexplicable phenomena in history. Two subjects will never be adequately explained even after the most expansive scrutiny: the French Revolution and Marilyn Monroe.

    • @@donnalambs9578 When I was 7 years old, when Marilyn was alive, I hated her movies too. Did not understand, of course, the whole breathy blonde bombshell schtick. 3 years later, after her death, I watched The Misfits and was surprised to feel a connection with this woman who, like me, could not tolerate cruelty to animals. That was the start of my attitude change, which then continued to evolve through the decades when i learned more and more about the person. In her way, at a time when it was even more difficult, she stood up to Hollywood. She did have great talent. As Robert Mitchum said, "She burlesqued it" referring to her blonde bombshell roles. As her publicist said, "she had too many thoughts in her head .. that was part of her problem" referring to the perception at the time that she was a dumb blonde with no thoughts in her head. As Sheree North said, "she got attention that nobody else got" not even other huge names in Hollywood. She was talented. She was smart. She was funny. She was tragic. She was strong. She was vulnerable. She was a phenomenon.

When I first visited Hotel Del Coronado it was a thrill to stand at the very places where they had shot the scenes. And it is always good to pay one's respects to the memory of Marilyn by standing at her crypt & saying "Marilyn, we will love you forever. God bless you"

  • The "Queen Of The Silver Screen," Marilyn Monroe met fame and fortune, but she never met or found true love which she so desperately sought after...very sad indeed. I have visited Marilyn Monroe's tomb at the Westwood Cemetery off the Wilshire Blvd. in LA several times, I have even brought roses, and have attended the official Marilyn Monroe fan club memorial that was held there in Marilyn's memory.

  • 49 years ago today, the sky took back a star, a beautiful, glowing light that seemed to shine in any darkness. A life taken at 36 is already a tragedy within itself, but a life that had inspired so many others and still continues to do so being gone forever is cruel. She would have been 85 this year. Rest in peace, Marilyn.

  • most beautiful person to ever exist still is not skinny. people should measure her for all beauty measures. cause all girls growing up dying to be skinny like all the models but true beauty is over here. for me myself and i as a 16 year old kid i find her true beauty with everything in her,

    • True beauty? Did you see her pictures when she was still Jeane Baker? She was SOOO different. And that girl knew like a 100 different beauty tips, like shaving her face and using tons of different products in her hair to make it look blond and shiny. People really need to stop calling her a natural/true beauty just because she's not skinny. Why is everybody so obsessed about one's weight?
