  • As a Dutch guy, who regulary visits Amsterdam, i can tell the Red Light District is still there, coffeeshops are everywhere, and yes the Mocromafia overall runs the drug trade.

  • As a Dutch guy from Amsterdam it is obvous that this guy is talking so much bullshit, it's unreal. I dont understand why people like this make up stuff and never think "wtf am I doing with my life?" I like Joe Rogan, but he's not a very critical interviewer.

  • Living in Amsterdam for the past 6 years as a foreigner, the redlight district is still open and so are the coffeeshops. Amsterdam is one of the safest cities in the world, afterall it got the 6th place in the safety-city-index (score: 79.3, of 0 to 100, where 100 = best health, and anything above 75.1 is very high in safety) right behind Tokyo, from 60 places of all countries in the world.

  • I've been living in Amsterdam for the past 17 years and this city is ridiculously safe. Yes we have criminals and they all kill each others, but for the majority of the population life can be incredibly smooth.

  • Dutch guy speaking, sorry but there are so many errors here. Despite the fact that cities here are perfectly safe and that you don't notice a single thing regarding the drug trade as a citizen. Adam's discussion of the Dutch farmers was loaded with errors. The farmers are not 'going away' and nobody here wants to get rid of them. But due to ridiculously high subsidies for meat production in the Netherlands throughout the last century, the concentration of cattle in this very small country is absurdly large. Because cattle emit a lot of nitrogen, our nitrogen (ammonia) emissions is thereby among the highest of the world.

  • Living in the Netherlands for the past 7 years. To draw a picture of the country as a mafia haven is so weird. It is so much safer than pretty much anywhere in the US.

  • Red light district is still here, went to the coffee shop yesterday, and paddo’s are easier to get than gasoline. The Netherlands don’t get rid of there culture man

  • Also, what's the problem with 15 minute citys? I live in Amsterdam and I absolutely love the fact that I don't need a car here, I can reach everything by bike or on foot. I absolutely hate spatial planning in the USA, you can't get anywhere without a car. Cities there feel lifeless, devoid of street life.
