  • We don't have a trailer but choose to boat in the Florida /Bahamas area. Have been watching your videos for two years, enjoying them, and learning a lot. In summary, Tara is like the sweet frosting on the cake and Chad provides the recipe...the perfect couple. Thanks for enlightening all of us.

  • If you guys love trains as we do. Take the Chattanooga TN to Summerville, GA excursion. Steam Engine pulled. It's about 10 to 12 hours round trip but it is Awesome !! Go 1st class and you get the excellent food in the dining car and hang out in the very roomie lounge car. It was AWESOME !! BTW, the breakfast and lunch was Awesome too !.

    • Born and raised in Haywood County and live here still. First 30 years of my life were spent on Fontana all summer and my brother still has a boathouse at Alarka. My family's boathouse was at Alarka right under where they were before they cut away to the picture of the dam. Best place in the world to be as a kid and young adult! I love it still.

Can't imagine, as a fire fighter paramedic, how difficult fighting that fire was. We have yet to stop in Bryson City but it is on the list for sure. Merry Christmas y'all!

  • Great video, guys. That looks like ya'll made the right choices all the way around. The right day, right train, right car, and most importantly, the absolute best either day. I would tend to agree on the open cars, nice weather, great. Cold, wet weather, not so much. I guess Tara had the right idea, carry a blanket and wrap up. Although cold, wrapped up, make it very difficult to enjoy the scenery . Glad ya'll had a nice Thanksgiving with the family. God bless ya'll and stay safe on your travels to these beautiful trips.

  • Great day, awesome fall foliage. Your videos are so much more than RVing. The adventures whether train. Motorcycle, helicopter, campgrounds or walking are giving us knowledge of places to go as well plus extras like all the car options. We stayed east in Maggie Valley, NC for our group motorcycle ride week (summer 2021). Road thru Bryson on the way to Fontana dam. Then followed the river down stream of the dam on 28 over to the Dragon (129). Great riding country too.

There were about 20 of us in the coach car. Have you ever been to a steam engine show? The Amish go alot. My uncle built small steam engines and founded a club in FL for enthusiasts.
