I've never seen such a big group of goats (herd). This place is very isolated from the usual trails, so they shouldn't have a reason to leave the area. Not sure what strategy goats use for their migration/movement, once they find a good area with plenty of food and away from predators.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say they were aware of your presence. They seemed to hear the camera panning or they smelled you.

Yes, they were definitely aware of the man filming them. At several points you can see some of the goats pause and look directly at him, staring. Beautiful footage.

Amazing how they climb with those neat looking and functionial hooves. I want two for pets and to be assistant goats for me as i age. They could do it all and more that a service dog can do, i am sure!🐐
