  • in the 19 times liverpool and city have faced off across all competitions since 2017/18 liverpool have won 7 city have won 7 and theyve drew 5. in 2017/18 liverpool won 4-3 in the league 3-1 and 2-1 in the ucl and lost 5-0. in 2018/19 they drew 0-0 and lost 2-1. in 2019/20 liverpool lost the community shield on pens 5-4 and won 3-1 in the league and lost 4-0 in the league. in 2020/21 they drew 1-1 and liverpool lost 4-1 at the etihad. in 2021/22 they drew 2-2 twice and liverpool beat city 3-2 in the fa cup semis. in 2022/23 liverpool won the community shield 3-1 and won 1-0 in the league at anfield before losing 3-2 in the round of 16 of the carabao cup and losing 4-1 at the etihad. and of course earlier this year they drew 1-1 at the etihad. all in all liverpool and city are very evenly matched and tomorrow should decide the title. it could go either way but seeing that its at anfield i think liverpool win 2-1
