  • People who don't know the rules too well, the one where after reviewing the play and the Yellow card was canceled and the Red was shown instead is important. Because even if the player was ejected because it was his 2nd Yellow of the game, a Y+Y=R means 1 game off after that. A straight Red means 2-3 off depending on the league, so it is important. There are Tournaments where a accumulation of Yellow cards during a stage of the Tournament also means 1 game suspension, which can be hard on the team because this means 1 titular player won't be present on the first game of rounds of 16 for example.

  • 6:05 it doesn't matter that there's no contact, that's a dangerous tackle and a red card. Alves is milking it but that's a red card challenge, contact or no. You don't have to snap someone's leg in two to get a red card, if the opponent dodges a dangerous tackle, it's still a red.
