That glue stringing and veneer work? The craftsmanship and attention to detail that requires is worth whatever you are paying that guy.
30 minute Wyrmlyfe video, you know it's gonna be litt 🔥🔥
Kinda smart, to put the guy, who tells wood apart by purely looking at the grain, on the job, where you have to match the grain to get the best looking end product possible.
SO MUCH WOODWORKING, I CANT HANDLE IT. Also they have a Gandalf that looks after the veneer. Fantastic Episode.
THIS is the Wyrmlyfe I like. More woodwork content please!!!
you don't like all the guy on coke, wearing rose colored glasses inside, sourcing dice from China, and trying to start a Fyre Fest content?
Ian is usually a pretty casual, low key guy. Looks can be deceiving. Every now and then we get a glimpse of why he is one of the founders of Wyrmwood. The fact he could visualise that banding right in the design meeting, and executed it with such mastery is a testament to the craftsmanship Wyrmwood is built on
The best episode in a long time. Love seeing actual craftsmen doing actual woodworking.
is that *THE* laser? the one we got from someone's living room? the one that definitely didn't get dropped? several times? that's awesome.
This is the question that needs to be answered
The one directly to the left of the one I’m working with in this episode is, and it’s the bane of my existence. 🥲
@@SouthpawHolmes So you're telling us you won't be making an "Eve of Vecna" custom laser marquetry version. 👁👌🏻
Even though you guys are all "goofy," It's really nice to see professionals doing their craft. I also love seeing the little "hacks" for the day-to-day stuff. Thanks guys! #poozin' #dougdab
Jeremy is DEFINITELY a master! That man cannot only do his job amazingly, but can teach other in a way few people can
Dang, so many craftspersons involved, so many steps involved in making the tables. If people complain about the cost of the prophecy, point them to this video.
The topper guys doing perfect product placement for Makita was nice. Watching how much work goes into a Prophecy is great. The veneer sewing machine is awesome!
I love the 30 minutes of woodworking. This content and Doug being his menace of a self is why I’m a subscriber.
Now I fully understand why prophecy’s are soo expensive. This amount of work and craftsmen ship is insane!!
A quick win for customization may be to allow customers to bring custom shield designs. It would be a quick laser job and could really bring some additional flare to the tables.
I absolutely loved this episode. As a hobby woodworker, i learned so many tips in this and tricks. To see your woodworkers demonstrate their artistry was amazing. THANK YOU!!!
love it. back to a good old working woodworking video with product development. more of this!!!!!!!!
I am really enjoying the craftsman side of things in these video's.
I don't remember if Jeremy has been featured on anything but his puns, but damn dude, he's a craftsman and a joy to watch.
Layers, Layers, and more Layers.... I preach it all the time. Thanks for sharing this video. I love it! Also.... a hot glue gun sewing machine... sign me up! Killer work all!
I know everyone has their own preferences for Wymlife content. But, these last 2 episodes are absolutely what does it for me. Great work. Eeeek now I'm late for work!
30 min video.....Wtf!? Haven't even watched it yet, but super excited for it. By the title I'm seeing a 30 minute woodworking video! I love seeing that actual aspect of the business alot. So, if it is all woodworking...thank you!
These camera angles are gorgeous
Genuinely enjoyed spending time with all these wonderful craftspeople
A prophecy/mgt pool table with reversable topper blocks and a magnetic rail is what the world really need. If we deserve one is up to Wyrmwood
This really shows the amount of work that goes into the Prophecy. Crazy amounts of detail, great long form episode guys.
I am liking the look of this table and it got me thinking... What about making a "Necromancer" table or product where the product is made from damaged production pieces or sections of table that have been returned due to damage, etc. Make it a once a year limited item
Can't wait to see the finished product. I love the way the guys are developing new looks to the prophecy. Great work.
The b-roll in this episode is A-1! Awesome stuff guys, and awesome R&D!!
awesome episode! glue string was wild. one day when I hit the lotto. amazing work going into this furniture! and channel 😊
Damn, A whole new level of respect for Jeremy, the works he does is amazing! I do like puns by the way 😅
Love, LOVE the in-depth woodworking and true craftsmanship videos!
Love the longer format video!
For the Diceapalooza pins I like black outline on the middle one the best, it's the most readable, especially on video.
another good video, glad to see more of these types again following the design process for an item :D (also the pins at the end look cool, theyre like little tickets)
I love the videos that show the woodworking side of things!
This series is really showing why the Prophecy tables cost what they do. Work like this doesn't come cheap.
I like the focus on different artisans and their different expertise and talent.
These in-depth videos have been amazing in seeing the process and thinking in each step of the creation of the product. Keep it up!
Oh btw. I'm an European and as we have quite small apartments, our current gaming table is a round 4-person table(115cm/46inch) that can be extended to a 6 person table. We cram 9 people around it atm... The Hexagonal table would be pretty awesome if one could extend the sides to make it an oval shape when needed!
This was doooope, love seeing the process and craftsmanship
I imagine this kind of video wasn't feasible on the daily schedule, absolutely love to see it! Really substantial, all in one go, great detailed look at the work that goes in, brilliant!
One of my favorite videos in a long time! More design, more woodworking, longer vids!
Love this build series!
I really enjoyed this, seeing the process and craftsmanship, just amazing!
Great episode. Loved seeing the process for this amazing table
That's such a good idea with the backwards saw 🪚
This episode is awesome! I loved seeing how things are made.
So good. I was starting to tune out when episodes felt random and disjointed. Having the two “story lines” dice and prophecy make it’s much more fun to follow
Really love seeing the design and production process
I love these long form videos of woodworking!
If you’re having some problems with sanding dust bleeding colors then try applying a coat of 1 or 2 pound shellac to the veneer logos before sanding, it helps for me with the problem.
Great episode, with crafting and mix of the other characters of wyrm life
Nooooooo! We have to wait for the reveal? This is looking really cool and can't wait. If this is a looza, I don't wanna be a pooza!
I love this. It's so cool watching new ideas get unfolded into something great
Love how happy each of them looking exceeding at its craft. They are total pros!
Coolest thing ever to see the OH’s doing some awesome work!! Back to the wood!!!
Love the long episode! More long episodes please!
The colorway of rogue is beautiful. I think this grand undertaking was destined for greatness. I am already interested but after seeing the work so far, I'm convinced it will be a mo' flippin' BANGER!!!!!
a+ video - really love these woodworking videos
Quite excited see the final result...
It's great to watch these fantastic crafts people use their fantastic abilities and knowledge..
Super cool to see everyone working on their only little piece! Really interesting video
nice episode guys, love the design and making combined
This color combo is going to look roguishly handsome! 🔥Long form videos FTW!!! 🔥
I do find the process of wooden wallpaper fascinating
This might be the single longest piece that had Jeremy in it as a primary character just by himself... I missed him.
23:15 After all that setup, if he'd pulled a panini off the press that would have been comedy gold.
Got my moduler table in maple, but after seeing how nice the paduk looks makes me kind of wish I went with my gut and got that.
I’ve always loved the Rogue esthetic. And imagined doing it on my own pieces. Seeing the design process for it was poozin
I love these videos, Makes it feel like I could do it, Then I open the door to my garage and remember I only own a Plasma cutter, a drill and a angle grinder
Nice throwback to actually focus on craftsmanship again for once (even if it is kind of mass production focused). Also the diceapalooza branding is just 70s nonesense put into a blender set to high.
Diceapalooza branding is like a Peanut M&M dispenser in the entryway of a bowling alley in Minot, ND that you're pretty sure hasn't been touched in 40 years but those M&M's sure look tasty every time you go.
best episode since the originals ❤❤❤
Ugh this table is giving me such hard wood vibes 🤤. Absolutely amazing so far.
More episodes like this, please.
Them pins are so NICE😮
Would you consider making a woodworking training course ? With all the skill under those buildings in both shops, it would be awesome.
The prototype shields 29:15 look like custom class table coasters.
Enjoyed the hell out of this video, great work!
Love the pooz, but the crafting episodes *chefs kiss*
What a great episode!
yay more wyrmlife
This was a glorious episode.
Why not install saw blade backwards then? 4:43
Incredible
This videos rule. I’m hooked
More!
The idea that I might be able to get a Wizard Prophecy someday has me literally talking my wife into finishing the garage to make space for that glorious beast.
Great episode!
I am using this video as reference for a table I want to do with a purpleheart using padauk walnut/wenge accents.
30 minutes!? We are spoiled AF And watching this, no wonder that prophecy costs so much. I love it. EDIT: No way you make us wait till next episode! 😭
I know it's a nightmare for production, but hear me out. Michael alms pattern plywood as the banding would look sick.
This was just an awesome vid.
Best show on KZhead
The arm rest inlays are padauk Damascus, and im here for it
This was fucking fascinating. Thank you, Matt, for this really amazing long from video. Great stuff.
Amazing process video! Brilliantly done. I would donate a kidney to someone at Wyrmwood for that finished Thief/Rogue Prophecy.
I feel like I’m watching trade secrets! This was such a cool episode and I think the stripes and logos are gonna pop and look sexy AF
rogue prophecy is gonna steal the show
love it!
