Satisfactory is an amazing logistics game where you have to build a giant factory and automate everything! It is very similar to Factorio and equally as awesome!

  • I've only spent 20hours in this game. But played with a friend which helped us get to level 6 quite quickly. We got to automatically manufacture everything from lvl 5 and made a energy source that we barely used because of its size. I had so many headaches making sure all the mines, storages, constructors connected perfectly and so did he working on making massive energy sources. But it's insane how much i miss it. We never finished it because of the pain headaches and that we had college (we played during summer) so we stopped. This game is the most unique thing i played as i hate it with my soul but love it with my heart just as much as the other. It's an amazing game and i absolutely love it

  • Personally, I kind of wish I'd had spent the money from Satisfactory on more copies of Factorio for my friends. It's okay but it just doesn't press the same buttons as factorio at all. You nailed it when you said, "there's no challenge". You get to a point in Satisfactory in about 50ish hours, where you realise you're automating just to automate and there's nothing else. At that point I usually just give up on my factory and take a break for a couple of weeks. In factorio there's this kind of unrelenting pressure that's continually urging you to go on, to expand more, to get that next upgrade. It could be upwards of 200 hours in a single playthrough before you even consider restarting, but you'll soon give up on that idea because the factory must grow and you're in it forever. I do like Satisfactory, I think eventually it'll turn out to be a decent enough game but it's not there yet, and from the speed of their development, it won't be for at least another 2 - 3 years.
