I guess it would be a neat fight. Though Orochimaru would need sage mode to fight Mayuri. I think Orochimaru would win if Mayuri was put on the spot with no Intel. If Mayuri had even the slightest knowledge beforehand it's not even a competition. Mayuri has drugs that cause cells to constantly replicate to uncontrolled levels, essentially becoming like cancer that killed even the hand of the Soul King. Orochimaru would not be able to use his body change jutsu or snake molting jutsu at all.

This is the fight that sold me on Mayuri as a character.

Just because we accept things as they are doesn't mean we're defeated and being a loser, it's also about enjoying and learning about every step and every stage of things to see how good we used to it and how to change and evolve it for the better future

If you range the number from 1 to 10 then of course 10 was the perfect point of all numbers if you search for the max point. But when you're about to pick the least point then you have to pick 1. But those are depends on how and what you need those for which can turn you to get more or less by itself but enough for yourself if you demand it. Mayuri rejects perfection because as researcher, perfection was the root of satisfaction and when you satisfied there's no challange to up against. This is an interesting match up because Mayuri and Szayeloporro basically serve the same function for their side. They’re both elite members for their side, Szayel being an Espada and Mayuri being a captain but from an actual power standpoint, they’re among the weakest of their sides. Mayuri is DEFINITELY the weakest captain due to lack of demonstrated speed and power and Szayeloporro never even really demonstrated actual fighting capabilities in favor of letting his arrancars and inventions fight. However, they are definitely the smartest and if given enough prep time could probably neutralize most of the people who have a sizable power advantage on their sides. Mayuri and Szayeloporro are basically the Batman of their respective alignment, so this fight is less of a throw down and more of a test of wits. This fight shows just how insanely smart and dangerous Mayuri is if given enough time to plan things out. To give context, Szayeloporro spent multiple episodes utterly wrecking people who were, realistically, probably much stronger than Mayuri. He was able to do this to the nature of his abilities, such as: Being able to disable Renji’s bankai, rejuvenate all his lost power after Uryu’s attack nearly killed him by consuming one of the hollows under him, and being able to cripple Uryu and Renji by making voodoo dolls of them. However, Mayuri knew all these tactics and had a counter for everything Szayeloporro could throw at him. It was glorious. Really, I loved all of the battles the captains had with Espada, due to shared commonalities with each other, such as: 1. Shunsui and Stark having insane levels of power (Shunsui being the runner up for head captain and Stark being the Primera Espada) but their general dislike for battle prevents them from going all out. Their full power was also EXTREMELY hazardous (Shunsui’s bankai is too dangerous to use around his allies and Stark’s sheer full spiritual pressure kills anyone significantly weaker than him if he doesn’t check it). 2. Soi Fon and Barragan generally detest those under them (Barragan calls everyone under him “ants” and Soi Fon showed next to no concern for Omaeda’s safety) and have insanely broken moves (Soi Fon’s shikai kills next to anything in 2 hits and Barragan’s released will anything within a certain distance). The fight was essentially between 2 of the most prideful members of both sides. 3. Toshiro and Halibel are probably the hearts of their respective sides due to their clear concern for those under them and their abilities are extremely similar (both involve manipulating water in some way). The fight was essentially between 2 extremely honorable fighters. 4. Kenpachi and Nnoitora are both battle obsessed lunatics who have impressive levels of endurance. Their intended goals in life are to fight ultimate opponents who push them to their limits. 5. Byakuya and Zommari are incredibly arrogant and generally detest anyone they fight. They are obsessed with following the order of their respective sides. They are also among the fastest of their respective sides. Just my 2 cents though
