Had 1 van de mooiste wedstrijden van de afgelopen jaren kunnen worden. Ging bijna gelijk op en had ze het graag uit zien vechten. Ik vind Remy en Badr beiden geweldige vechters en bijzondere mensen afgaande op de info die er over hun beschikbaar is. Is niet goed te praten wat Badr deed maar er zal meer spelen dan wij buitenstaanders ooit zullen weten. Daar stond Badr, sportman en mens, 23 en ook niet perfect, verantwoordelijk voor zijn eigen akties, Nu niet een heel volk de schuld geven.

Another thing, if the soccer players went to break opponents legs instead of outplaying them, would the match be let to continue? Hari did it out of frustration, because for 5 minutes of fighting he didn't deliver a single shot that would count for points or that would even a bit hurt Remy, just like last year, so he simply hit a wall, and he felt he couldn't hurt Remy otherwise than that. Umieściłem już gdzieś ten komentarz, ale wydał mi się tak niespodziewanie mądry, że powlepiam go chyba wszedzie. Otóż za bicie leżącego przeciwnika Badr powinien zostać zdyskwalfikowany niezależnie od tego, czy Remi zwijałby się z bólu, czy skakał jak kózka. A zupełnie najlepiej by było, gdyby po tym całym incydencie Badr położył się na ringu i przyjął z pokorą dwa ciosy od Remiego. Jakby wstał, to walka byłaby kontynuowana.

@KingYelIowman yeah your absolutely right but thats K1 you have to handle this if you cant control your temper then your not supposed to fight in the ring some fighters fight agressive like badr (what i personally like more than remys styl) and others like to be defensive and to counter punch thats it

Badr Hari is een hele sterke vechter en heeft veel in zijn mars. Maar zonder beheersing maak je helaas fouten. Ja het was zeker een fout! Gelukkig kan hij daarvan leren. Hij blijft wel een topsporter. Remy lijkt mi voor het geld te hebben gekozen. Ik hoorde vandaag dat hij in het verleden vaker zo een wedstrijd heeft gewonnen. Het ging om 3 a 4 partijen. Uit zijn hoek kwam ook geschreeuw om te blijven liggen De verwachting is wel een nominatie voor een oscar.

Badr's got issues. even if it didnt hurt that much it was smart of Remy to stay down. shouldve been an easy disqualification. and yes i saw spider vs belfort. fuckin surgical kick man! the kick was clean and the impact.... priceless! great fight. ufc is still "street-brawling" compared to K1. im still a fan tho, i guess

I really wanted Badr to win the fight. But he clearly lost first round, and by wide margin. Badr was so so good until final, but Bonjasky is similar player as Badr, so Badr couldn't seem to find a way. What Badr did in second round, pulled Remy down, and kicked? He probably knew he lost the fight, as Remy defends him well. I understand why he did it, it's so close fight between these two guys. I would die to see another match. But Badr needs to grow up. Why do that when you are so fantastic?

anyone who is praticing a fight sport like this or any other full contact sport knows that a blow or stomp that does not look so bad can feel like it pushes all the air out of your longs or that you can't stand on your feet anymore. We'll never know what remy felt when he lay down gettin smacked. Fact is Badr is the greatest fighter of this moment but he is a fighter that has to have respect for the rules no matter how many emotion you have in you. That is what makes a good fighter even better!

Je kunt zeggen over Badr wat je wilt maar ik kan wel vechten. Jammer dat hij zijn controle verliest, want vlak voor dat Remy viel werd hij goed geraakt door Badr (zie replay). Als Badr volgens de regels had doorgevochten, had hij nog best kunnen winnen denk ik.

jammer dat badr hari ging naschoppen, ik had dat helemaal niet van hem verwacht. Hij was nog wel zo goed (veel bewegelijker dan dan remy, maar remy had meer tactiek). ook zijn reactie achteraf valt me tegen, hopelijk leert hij wat meer respectvol spelen in de komende seizoenen, hij heeft hoe dan ook talent, hoewel ik toch remy iets beter vind omdat hij slimmer speelt.

@dimviesel I preferred the old UFC where it was almost anything goes, except for headbutts, shots to the groin & throat & no eye gouges - it was more real of a street fight, only it has been watered down by it's rules & regulations to make it safer & profitable as a sport & to my understanding there are certain states in the US which don't condone that level of violence - check out the early UFC days. If I were Remy, I would have done my best to continue the fight & win honorably, but I'm not

@KingYelIowman He should've been training to fight counter fighters. It's no one's fault but Badr's that he lost his temper and couldn't control himself. Bonjasky was catching him with some good kicks, and Badr didn't know what to do, so he reacted like a child who doesn't want to be told "no." Remy was fighting the way he wanted to fight, and Badr should've been able to control himself. He might be a great fighter, but he has very little respect, and he's far too malicious.

Right decision, Remy took advantage Badr Hari probably would have won, but you won't ever know for sure =)
Remy B totally owned him in the 1st round and used his brains instead of the lack of.. If a dog lays belly up, most dogs stop attacking because of cowardless. Says enough about Badr Hari.. I feel bad for his people who would love to have a sucesfull Morroccan to look up to. Maybe next year good luck with it. We're all learning everyday Its a process too you know, life.. a lot of people comdamned bonjasky to remain on the ground after he was illegaly kick in the head by hari.just look on the k-1 news:bonjasky has a major problem with one of his eyes for a while that could force him to retire from k-1.AND K-1 IS A SPORT,NOT STREET FIGHT.anyway,hari was disqualified for illegal kick even bonjasky was able to continue the fight.the same thing happend on hari last fight against hesdy gerges.hari got such a week chin who make him loose 2 major fights so far.

the Adrokk makes a good point though, this is k1 NOT pride or mma/ufc... when someone is knocked down and the ref steps in and breaks them they better follow the rules of suffer the consequences, esp fighting a vet like remi who might know hw to play it... like any good sportsman, ive seen it time and time again in so many fights. dont get me wrong... im a BIG fan of BOTH fighters but badr shouldve known better! nuf said!

I'd like someone to explain to me how you can "Trick" your opponent into punching and Kicking you in the head when you are on the ground??? Also I've been watching K1 for 8 years and am struggling to remember a fight where Bonjasky needed help from a ref to win. He has 37 wins in K1, 17KO's and has won the championship 3 times. Here's a tip - if you want to give someone info on a sport try at least to make it accurate!

@smashu2 You used to be able to kick someone down in UFC & and were even able to stomp on them as well, but it has been changed.. If you look closely Badr stomped on the side of Remy's face probably hitting his temple with the balls of his foot, that could have dazed him a bit, but in my opinion wasn't enough to KO Remy, maybe a lesser man - who knows? I will say that this fight could have been a classic - Remy a seasoned pro Vs the up&coming aggressive Badr, it had KO written all over it.

Badr Hari toonde na zijn diskwalificatie in de finalepartij van de K-1 World GP Final 2008 geen berouw. ,,Ik ben een emotioneel persoon. Ik kom om te knokken, of dat nou staand of liggend is, merkte Hari na afloop op in de catacomben van de Yokohama Arena. Hij zei zich geërgerd te hebben aan de vechtstijl van Bonjasky. ,,Het was weer hetzelfde liedje met hem. Remy hield alleen zijn handen hoog.

anyone who is praticing a fight sport like this or any other full contact sport knows that a blow or stomp that does not look so bad can feel like it pushes all the air out of your longs or that you can't stand on your feet anymore. We'll never know what remy felt when he lay down gettin smacked. Fact is Badr is the greatest fighter of this moment but he is a fighter that has to have respect for the rules no matter how many emotion you have in you. That is what makes a good fighter even better!

Je kunt zeggen over Badr wat je wilt maar ik kan wel vechten. Jammer dat hij zijn controle verliest, want vlak voor dat Remy viel werd hij goed geraakt door Badr (zie replay). Als Badr volgens de regels had doorgevochten, had hij nog best kunnen winnen denk ik.
jammer dat badr hari ging naschoppen, ik had dat helemaal niet van hem verwacht. Hij was nog wel zo goed (veel bewegelijker dan dan remy, maar remy had meer tactiek). ook zijn reactie achteraf valt me tegen, hopelijk leert hij wat meer respectvol spelen in de komende seizoenen, hij heeft hoe dan ook talent, hoewel ik toch remy iets beter vind omdat hij slimmer speelt.
@dimviesel I preferred the old UFC where it was almost anything goes, except for headbutts, shots to the groin & throat & no eye gouges - it was more real of a street fight, only it has been watered down by it's rules & regulations to make it safer & profitable as a sport & to my understanding there are certain states in the US which don't condone that level of violence - check out the early UFC days. If I were Remy, I would have done my best to continue the fight & win honorably, but I'm not
@dimviesel That face kick, even though it never really KO'd Remy it was real - look at Remy's head at the moment of impact, it was real man.. Go watch Anderson Silva Vs Vitor Belfort, look at that kick..
Het is gewoon onsportief van Badr en je moet je niet door je emoties laten lijden in een wedstrijd.. Het moet gecombineerd met gevoel en strategie gaan..

@KingYelIowman He should've been training to fight counter fighters. It's no one's fault but Badr's that he lost his temper and couldn't control himself. Bonjasky was catching him with some good kicks, and Badr didn't know what to do, so he reacted like a child who doesn't want to be told "no." Remy was fighting the way he wanted to fight, and Badr should've been able to control himself. He might be a great fighter, but he has very little respect, and he's far too malicious.

Remy B totally owned him in the 1st round and used his brains instead of the lack of.. If a dog lays belly up, most dogs stop attacking because of cowardless. Says enough about Badr Hari.. I feel bad for his people who would love to have a sucesfull Morroccan to look up to. Maybe next year good luck with it. We're all learning everyday Its a process too you know, life.. well according to test made, of which i wrote in the new paper they show the same, thing, call us what you want, but the truth if we are having alot of fun, well that what i will call to enjoy life for real
a lot of people comdamned bonjasky to remain on the ground after he was illegaly kick in the head by hari.just look on the k-1 news:bonjasky has a major problem with one of his eyes for a while that could force him to retire from k-1.AND K-1 IS A SPORT,NOT STREET FIGHT.anyway,hari was disqualified for illegal kick even bonjasky was able to continue the fight.the same thing happend on hari last fight against hesdy gerges.hari got such a week chin who make him loose 2 major fights so far.

the Adrokk makes a good point though, this is k1 NOT pride or mma/ufc... when someone is knocked down and the ref steps in and breaks them they better follow the rules of suffer the consequences, esp fighting a vet like remi who might know hw to play it... like any good sportsman, ive seen it time and time again in so many fights. dont get me wrong... im a BIG fan of BOTH fighters but badr shouldve known better! nuf said!

I'd like someone to explain to me how you can "Trick" your opponent into punching and Kicking you in the head when you are on the ground??? Also I've been watching K1 for 8 years and am struggling to remember a fight where Bonjasky needed help from a ref to win. He has 37 wins in K1, 17KO's and has won the championship 3 times. Here's a tip - if you want to give someone info on a sport try at least to make it accurate!

@smashu2 You used to be able to kick someone down in UFC & and were even able to stomp on them as well, but it has been changed.. If you look closely Badr stomped on the side of Remy's face probably hitting his temple with the balls of his foot, that could have dazed him a bit, but in my opinion wasn't enough to KO Remy, maybe a lesser man - who knows? I will say that this fight could have been a classic - Remy a seasoned pro Vs the up&coming aggressive Badr, it had KO written all over it.

Badr Hari toonde na zijn diskwalificatie in de finalepartij van de K-1 World GP Final 2008 geen berouw. ,,Ik ben een emotioneel persoon. Ik kom om te knokken, of dat nou staand of liggend is, merkte Hari na afloop op in de catacomben van de Yokohama Arena. Hij zei zich geërgerd te hebben aan de vechtstijl van Bonjasky. ,,Het was weer hetzelfde liedje met hem. Remy hield alleen zijn handen hoog.

Oui j'ai bien vu pourquoi il a fait ca... Je comprends , Rémy est agassant comme mec mais n'empeche que ca reste une erreur de la part de Badr ! J'aurais préféré qu'il gagne proprement ce match car il est très fort Badr... C'est dommage.
