They sadly succumb to service neglect , I'm still bringing mine back from the dead , auto box replacement 2 weeks ago 133k miles on & there was lots of metal fragments in the box sump , jammed up the selector valves . Watch your filler pipes & fuel tank corrosion as it destroys the fuel system, = killed the zexel pump ☠️ . But Britain & aus are 2 very different places

My wife has a 2020 model with 70,000km, our 4th Pajero and I just showed my wife this video and told her we don’t have to think of what to get next because at this rate she can drive it for at least another 25-30 years and I got “the” look 😒 😂😂😂

Its a very reliable car. I own a 2016 Pajero GLS & it is one of the only few models that justifies an SUV class Will never let you down - be it road, off road, desert, muddy surface, rocky surface. The way things are going on, even I wont be much surprised if I ever see 999,999 on my odometer (mine is 104k already and still drives like new) The body is strongest than any other car in that segment Its a classic SUV you could ever imagine for the price

It would be cool to take the engine apart and see how she looks on the inside. Fun fact, it's not the kilometers that ruin an engine, it's more so the amount of heat cycles it goes through. This is a great testament to that.

2003upto 2011(from new),owned a pajero sport GLS 3litre V6 petrol.I bought it because it looked like an improved version of Toyota4Runner(were sold here in Israel up to 1997,8)2003 was the last of the p.sport,here.No more truck based suv's but Ssungyong.Early 2012 bought(2nd hand)the 'big' pajero,long wheel based,3.8litre V6 petrol,automatic 5speed,'fully loaded(called here "Dakar").I replaced the shocks with 'Aussi' Oldmans+spring(hightened the suv by 2.5 inches-maximum allowed without special permitt),added 9" touch screen-apple carplay/android auto,came(originally)with a subwoofer in the back.1thing about the p.sport-priced here in Israel lower by about 30%than the 'big boys' and simmilar to Ssungyong Rexton,Hunday Terracan.On the 'big' pajero-started with 30000km(19000 "ish" miles) and now 01/23=152000km(95000 "ish" miles).priced new at about 5%cheaper than it's main 'rival'- Landcruiser

Паджеро4 хороший автомобиль, я владею таким с 2020 года новый. Но регион, в котором эксплуатируется данный Паджеро довольно сухой. Дама ездила, по всей вероятности, аккуратно. Сервис, похоже, тоже был регулярным и полным. Так что, ничего удивительного. В неблагоприятных климатических зонах и при небрежнвх эксплуатации и обслуживании, любой автомобиль долго не проживет. Всем гладкой дороги!

Nice story well done.. My 2022 Pajero rear electric door has been an ongoing issue from new and nobody at Mitsubishi can fix it It just won’t open or close with the push button… It’s been back 3 times and service can’t work it out lol

It should be but be warned if the Injector pump goes is 6.5k to get refurbished and currently a 6 months wait for parts

australia has if i know right a dry climate, not much rust problem there. how about humid climates, does Mitsubishi rust in humid climates ? that lady drives on long roads, not many gear shifts there like driving in a city with all thst stop & traffic at traffic lights, so the transmission / clutch will not have that much wear-out to then last alot more. how about mitsubishi cars that arw driven mostly in cities, do their trabsmissions / clutches last that long too ?

Service neglect destr9ys the gearbox as the oil clogs , the autobox shift valves get stuck & eventually refuses to engage drive or sometimes reverse , the salt roads also kills the metal fuel tanks & the fuel filler pipes under the wheel arch , so water gets into the fuel system & destroys the pump . Cost me £550 for a second hand replacement zexel on my gen 3 & thats doing the job myself

Mine gave up after 220000 kilometers, i bought mine used with 205000 kilometers, 3.8 petrol. I think no one compares to the pajero if you want a car that can go highways and off-roading like driving in sand. Fortuner is nice too but very bouncy ride and less styling inside
