Plumber Plumbing First fix plumbing and heating pipework
Start of a huge job for us, our biggest to date, we are tasked with the first fixing of all the hot and cold water, heating and waste pipes. First round is to start laying some pipes. This house will have 5 zones over 3 floors so planning is key. The plans got changed a few times just over the 3 days we were there, we had a gas pipe and another bathroom to plan out, this one is going to be an amazing project, we are back on this end of August for Round 2
Subscription Goal 510/1000
Again, thank you for your continued support, over halfway to 1000 🙌👍

Great job mate. Plastic lasts longer in my book and it’s way more “flexible” 👌🏼👍🏼
Always remember when someone where I was working checked a wall with a metal detector and then drilled through a plastic central heating pipe.
Heard of this happening to people never done it myself yet 😅
Fair play mate, you have made a great start on that job, it's never easy when the plans keep changing and stuff isn't quite ready for you, keep up the great work 👍
Cheers mate, I’m expecting more to change but I’ve planned for it, never goes to plan but had a good start hopefully goes smoothly 👍
Started a Bathroom in May, did first fix, customer changed their mind as to the position of the bath and shower 3 times, redid pipework 3 times. Got to September floor tiled they changed their mind again. Told them to get another Plumber. Luckily got paid. Never heard from them again thankfully. Previously changed 13 rads in their place, customers wife came home from a business trip said 'Don't like the rads'. Changed all 13 again. Should have learnt from that but you think about the money.
That sounds like an absolute nightmare, best walking away sometimes, drive you insane ripping your own work out over and over
super neat job mate.👍👍
Great video content pal. For future reference, building control may fail the ceiling joists as the holes haven't been drilled in the centre of the joist and the fact that there are so many large holes in them. We use the metal strapped joists on all of our jobs. A lot less hassle and saves time on the labour.
Awkward when customers keep changing their mind. 😂 I don't mind plastic when it's done right. Tidy job. 👍 Funnily enough I was watching a heat pump install and they were saying the same you need to go up a size on plastic or mlcp to keep the flow up. CK make some stubby wood augers would go well with that drill. Looks a beast of a unit.
I’m expecting stuff to change again to be honest 😂 it was Chris who advised me of that before and it made sense when he explained it to me, and yeah that drill is a beast loved having a go with it…boys and there toys 😂😂
Love your content and enjoying your back catalog. Would say you can add free music.

A new term for me. Whats a spice kitchen?
It’s where they will cook with spices etc, the smells can be quite overwhelming so they are having a big extractor in there and away from main house 👍
Hi friend. Whats ur view on the whole plastic vs copper debate apart from the typical pros and cons u read on the internet. Is plastic strong enough. Thanks
Plastic is fine if installed correctly but where I can I prefer to use copper 👍
Missed what type of your putting in and is it a pressurised cylinder and where is that going to go is there a plant room workmanship seems very meet keep up the good work. 👍
Worcester system boiler with internal diverter linked to Worcester cylinder 250L 👍
Need yr advice mate, I passed my plumbing diploma level 2 about 8 years ago, I wanna do my nvq level 2 but have limited experience, what would u recommend me doing?
that is one big job how do you price that job up beyond me
Speak to the builder ask them what there budget is, then start with an estimate, you can gauge if there budget is realistic then. You have to explain due to size of job budgets will need to be flexible and problems/extra materials can occur. All about trust between builder or customer and yourself to give a fair price 👍
When going through a joist, shouldn't you be keeping to the mid point of the joist, more than a metre from the edge and on 3x drill size spacing?
No1 does this m8
Buy some clips
what do you charge for a job like this pal
I work with the builder who I’ve known for years and try and estimate and keep him updated as we go along…the total job including 2nd fix, boiler, cylinder, waste pipes etc is going to around £22-25k
Totally random question mate sorry but what editing software do you use for your KZhead videos?
App is called Inshot, really good mage 👍
Recorded on your phone?
