Honestly, for a person who is not showcased enough, who don't dance at the front, who doesn't have enough lines, who doesn't have screen time at all, he is not underrated. I mean, visuals are literally the most loved, but that's just for promotions, screen time, time in the center (even if you are not singing), etc. But Jin is a different visual and is bad treat by the entertainment, and even with less screen time, less lines, less center, less promotion, he still has fans, he still trend in Korea for his change the color of his hair and trend for open the car of a door LOL he deserves more credits as an artist and as a visual and when the company treat fair him and give him the screen time, lines, center as the maknae line he will be even more popular. But the entertainment is the problem, i think. Jin is so popular in Korea. And internationally time by time is coming for popularity, but we can't do nothing bc the only thing that we got by Jin is literally a song and 10 seconds per song, so we just have his visuals, but the standard are different between one continent and the rest of the world, also, we have so many fake fans who still just love only the maknae line and even if they say that they are army they will just see them and ignore th rest, even if the rest are interesting, handsome, etc. That's called a fake fan, i've been read so many, or people who doesn't even know that Jin is in the band, bc where you can see clearly him if he doesn't have the same as the rest? lmao, but yeah, i hope that next time, they at least give him more than 15 seconds per song, or a chorus and what he deserves, honestly. :( Just saying😅

I was an army since 2014, Taehyung was my first bias back then. But when I get busy in college, I’m no longer active anymore because I was literally crying and surviving with my degree. Now I’m working and I’ve heard about run episodes. I started to binge watch their reality show, it turns out I fall inlove with Jin’s personality. I love the 7 of them. But I can see myself in Jin’s perspective with life and how he handle things on his own, how he encourage himself to love his own self everyday. 10 years from now, I’m probably married that time, but Kim Seokjin will always have a place in my heart because I love every bit of him. If I could met him someday, I would thanked him for saving me when I’m depressed and anxious, it was his daddy jokes, goofy personality and loving character that saved me from the darkest part of my life. I love you, Kim Seokjin ❤️

i hope Jin reads this and gets uplifted to continue to be strong. he did say he is depressed most of the time, during a broadcast (after the quarrel with Tae). but he tries to be positive for his members. he even joined them when they had to do penalties. he said i let people use me (he makes a lot of effort with his dad's jokes) so that when they are happy, their happiness will rub off me, and in turn i will be happy. i worry about him sometimes, he's giving me Robin William vibes, and keeps him in my prayers, always. I was gonna make a whole thing about this, but flying and wings as a metaphor for success or happiness is a constant things throughout all their music. This goes back so far as I think Run? I'm on my phone so I can't really check, but Butterfly probably totally has it. But when birds fly overhead, and we see them on the ground, being friends, that's the real start. The bird Jungkook paints and Namjoon tattoos on himself in their short films also apply to this image, and yes, so do Persona and Shadow. Jin cannot fly so that his friends are able to (see Interlude: Wings). Persona is about someone wanting to fly (be successful/happy), and Shadow is about someone who is successful wishing they could take it all back. Black swan kind of counts too, and at least we know what the bird is now (first it was a crow or raven, now it's a swan). Especially since black swan is about the realizations of success, and the moment you stop loving what makes you successful ("that would be my first death"). I honestly think you can read Wings as a person study of the group and how they see themselves just as much as you can see a story in the videos. With 7, it's all personal experiences of fame from each member. There's a shift in the reason, but the wings metaphor still stands.

Awake is the song that makes me the most sentimental. When Seokjin says maybe I can never fly but I will run.
