@@lShowSpeed The push down ramp was fine imo but for some braindead reason, Hooxi didnt hug the wall like Niko and as a result his whole model was exposed and was instantly dead, leaving Niko stranded in ramp and overwhelmed.

They shouldn't even be here right now but a magical crash of Jame's pc has put them here. in game vs mouz there was a damn streaker causing mouz's momentum to reset, so lots of things went in g2's favor this tourney but they failed

I still don't get the rationale for Nexa + Hooxi. Two mechanically weak IGLs means they often lack firepower against the top teams, and theyre not even outstratting, most of their round wins come from Monesy/Niko getting unexpected kills.
Nexa isn't bad at all. He's a good player but not a real replacement for jks.
Nexa actually played well, especially on Anubis.
Nexa is a good player, just unfortunately had a bad game right when it mattered the most He's also definitely not as good as JKS though, there's some 1v1 and 1v2 defenses that JKS could've most likely won if he was there

I mean Hooxi had a 0.81 rating on Anubis, and a 0.75 rating on Ancient. He was getting punished on B site so often. Nexa was also non-existent on Ancient too, with 0.64 rating.

Agreed. Usually mistakes by pro players are "high level" mistakes. Situations where probabilities are kinda vague and its tough to take a real call. But this was silver 1/silver 2 level mistake. He already won the round. He heard alexi shooting. There's 7-8 seconds left on the bomb. Just dont peek man. Get the W. But no, he wanted to ego peek. Truly bot moment. i facepalmed so hard.

He got hit when alexi started spraying but was only a wallbang, so he took like 10-12 hp damage. He CHOSE to peek into a spraying alexi. He could have waited 3 seconds (since bomb can't be defused in 3 seconds) then peeked again. If alexi is defusing, he kills him. If he isn't, he hides again. If alexi kills him on his peek, he has to waste extra seconds killing him, meaning he won't be able to defuse the bomb then since there's less than 5 seconds left. Think before you open your mouth and shit all over the comment section. Goddamn bot.

man monesy was so good in this tournament. g2 can retake maybe not very well but they can somehow win(round 22,23) why did they have to push it ramp and gumble on that. cant wait to see what Navi's next move after major, this team definitely rise above expectations.

I'm glad we lost. We didn't belong here in the first place. Needed Jame to literally be offline to win on our home map, then beat mouz on one leg. Also, what was that push in the final round? Did the players forget the score was 12-11? Did they think the score was 12-11 in their favor? Zero rounds left to lose, and we gambled like we could afford it. It was brain dead, it sold m0nesy, and I think we can now definitely say that benching jks for nexa wasn't the right move. Also, I'm sorry hooxi, I love you, but you gotta go.
It wasnt bad call, they had no info for 20s and was hugely commited to B site. So there was tree outcomes 1) they stay but if its A hit from Navi they are fucked. 2) rotate monesy back to cover A and leave B site defense A battle of aim and utility (safest choice). 3) try B push to take matters in their hands. If they find nothing there they have time to set up A defence and win, or if they find couple players hope for trades and then monesy hold site for other to rotate, sadly they met there 4 players lurking probably good anticipation by blade

No man, it was a smoke + flash combo, they wanted to smoke t side ramp where the doors are at then flash if they are ahead of the smoke, but hooxi just peaked on left side of ramp like a retard, that forced niko to trade but obviously outnumbered. It was a bad call frok hooxi indeed.
It was a terrible call this time. Any other round would've have been fine but they climbed so many rounds back to 12-11, so now the pressure is on navi to make the first move. All g2 had to do was sit on site, play crossfire and hold for a push. Not even, play retake and nade dump site and peak together when retaking. There is so many other calls that are infinitely better than just brain dead peaking for no reason. There is no need for aggressive info play, they have been doing that up until 12-11, its just such a predictable thing to do, to the point that they just expect a push somewhere then converge.
I love how monesy pulls the knife, the zeus and everything and yet g2 chokes everytime because they can't keep their cool
disrespectfull absolutely disgusting game from NiKo,,,the amount of work m0NESY put just based on his understanding of the game,,,,huNter managed to slowly climb up the scoreboard,nexa struggled but manageed to frag for a bit,HooXi's masterclass calls along with one of the best K Ds he has ever put,and then there is NiKo with the absolute choke of the decade,,,,,,,so maaaaaaaaaany chances where he could have won it for the team, iam not doubting NAVI's performance here but G2 had an upportunity based on NiKo that could have won them the game and even when he faulters m0NESY decides to go crazy in the B site to give the team chance just for NiKo to faulter again,,,this seals it,REMOVE THIS GUY FROM THE TEAM,if you wanna be superstars but if you are fine with small tournaments then yes keep him,i used to support him alot but i can comfortably say that FaZe got rid of this player they started winning,just for the curse to move to G2,,,,his face is a face of a player that knows he doesnt change games he just relies on his teammates,,,GGs for NAVI and jL the man who decided to take matters into his own hands and put NiKo in his place.

absolutely right.. you can feel how in some situations he gets a adrenalin kick and then overpeeks because he wants to hit his fast flicks. It would have been just better to not peek, go back and retake with youre team. Actually those 2 situations decided the map.
idk, in the 2nd one i think its a good play to try to go crazy. It was the last hero play that could be made that round in 3v5 before bomb goes down 11-12, that would basically be gg. 1st clip hes just doing exactly you said though lmao

s1mple used to do it a lot but now a days teams are much more disciplined. also monesy knew he HAD to make some stellar plays like those and take those big risks to steer g2 through to a win, but unlucky for him, also he KINDA knows his team sucks rn and he IS the one who HAS to carry these noobs. back in the day when navi was filled with noobs who died everywhere and s1mple was left to carry and clutch, he such crazy things all the time, but as i said, now teams and players are much more disciplined, they dont give those free kills to Gods like s1mple/monesy/zywoo etc.

Absolutely horrific call from Hooxi on that final round to double push ramp with ZERO utility. Literally sitting ducks to any sort of flash or dry swing. That was a disgusting way to lose that series.

I don't know about 'tactics' since at the highest level of play, things can never go back to that every conceivable controlled-environment. Given all things that can be controlled internally (fluidity), It is the job of the team leader to be the Anti-Ace player with his own team, albeit focusly playing on as decoy/disrupting/and setting the dance overall for the opposing team and giving 'as much as many room' for the ace player to do his wonders (especially giving him that one 'you live for this moment' when fans are wooing, but bullying him for the rest of the entire game/or even day). But The problem or ultimately the challenge is as the pressure increases the least of the team (weakest link) members tends to lean towards the ace player, which the team leader has to focus in 'breaking' by making the over-all team at the very least, semi-autonomous-- whilst having to conserve optimal energy for his own aiming ability to be as useful in the game. Although, I have to admit I do not know and understand the overall predicament with this 16K fans, and all the tournament lights flashing on you though. But very great game nonetheless for G2! It's just as the announcer suggests 'they are just having a truly great day'. Good luck to NAVI!

Also hooxi very arrogant in post match interview in my opinion, NEVER admitted that Navi was the better team instead saying "we just lost to ourselves" and stuff how they proved in nuke where iM and w0nderful had a terrible game. I think the record is some ridiculous 6-1 in favor of Navi, but hooxi doesn't wanna admit that a team like Navi with only one top 20 hltv player beats 4 hltv ranked players.
