This episode should be 4 hrs long. Paul’s had such a prolific career
When he said "it's been almost 9 years playing antman" I thought it was a joke cause it said it came out 2015. I started counting and wtf its almost 10 years ago

How do you not talk about Role Models? That’s one of the most underrated comedies of the 21st century. Paul is so good in that
if you’re white, then you’re Ben Affleck!
tru
Scrolled down looking for this!
Checked the comments for this specific one. I knew someone else must’ve had this thought.
It surprised me too that it wasn't here. It's so good and also has such a good message behind it.
His "Perks of Being a Wallflower" performance is severely underrated in this regard. Possibly because he only has a couple of scenes in it, but he plays the mentor character incredibly well.
Bruhh he was the English teacher right ? Or sum, I completely forgot about that movie 🐐🐐
He played a great key part to the film. But it definitely is not top of the list of his performances. In saying that though, it’s a great movie and a great role.
ive never seen him in a dramatic role
Terrible movie
Great movie.
Paul Rudd had me with Clueless. I never looked back. He is a gem and absolutely must see. I love this guy
“I love Josh!” Everyone loved Josh❣️He’s a Baldwin😂 Love Paul, same never looked back!
Paul Rudd has been the man ever since clueless. Just realised he's been part of almost all the funny and wholesome movies since the 00s. Legendary guy.
Like every funny movie
I know he wasn't in there that long but I loved his character in FRIENDS. He was so funny in that role
When he pantomimes playing piano with so much energy 😂
This could have been a two hour feature documentary with just Paul Rudd talking about his roles and I would watch it in a heart beat.
Something like that would get more views on Netflix than Making a Murderer lol😂
I would watch a miniseries with him just talking about his experiences
Same

"Oh the weather outside is weather" is maybe my favorite lines in anything ever.
He’s such a relatable guy. I think his performance in “I Love You, Man” was so unique with all his mannerisms. He’s able to be funny and vulnerable at the same time while not trying. And he basically invented “Totes Magotes”. He’s a legend.
People keep saying that, but the truth is, teenagers were saying that long before the movie. At least at my high school between the years 2001 to 2005. My guess is there was a millennial involved in making that movie.
That movie has basically been indicative of most of my adult life; can’t believe it took me that long to see it.
I love him and Jason segel together. Excellent duo. Tom soyyyyoooiii
Yes and Jon fav was too funny
I def say Totes Magotes or Totes on the reg. Lol
For me, Paul became a legend as he consistently and repeatedly trolled Conan with the same 'Mac and Me' clip.
Even on Conan’s podcast, which made it even funnier.
I was hoping they would pull it on him here, and ask him to talk about Mac and Me
LOL YES!! I just posted about that! Slays me every time.
I met Jade around when he was in it.
He never promotes himself on talk shows and I love it
The amount of times Paul has played a “Pete” or “Peter” is intense lmfaoooo 😂😂
I feel like Paul Rudd is the nicest dude ever. He's one of those guys that would be so easy to just hang out with.
Role models, friends, parks and Recreation, Halloween:the curse of Michael Myers, dinner for schmucks, ghostbusters after life. Just some of the roles not mentioned.maybe a part 2? Seriously, he is the best, most likable guy in Hollywood. What a career, what a human!
"...most likable guy in Hollywood." Him and Tom Hanks may have to have a fight over that.

Never thought I’d see a comedic actor like Paul Rudd in the MCU. He has absolutely nailed it as the iconic Ant Man since then. Loved his performances in “Anchorman” and “Knocked up” also.
Why did only knocked up get quotes
Do you not have eyes? Did you miss Chris Evans and Chris Pratt? And I'm sure I can find other "comedic actors" turned super heroes.
@@Professor_Gamble And Robert Downey Jr. was a comedy actor and he was the first super hero in the MCU.
I love how this is less a breakdown of how he gets into character and why he's an actor, and it's really just 26 minutes of him telling us how awesome his life is.
He really does seem just like a genuine amazing and funny guy. So cool to hear literally most the scenes he’s been in have been improv, shows how hilarious he really is. Protect this gem, Paul Rudd is fantastic. ❤
Paul Rudd never ceases to be wholesome and hilarious.
I use the "60% the time, it works every time," quote at least once a week to this day!! LMAO
Perks of being a Wallflower should be in this simply for his line "We accept the love we think we deserve"
His mirror scene in Wanderlust is one of the best things to ever grace cinema. Not to mention the joke where the hippies are out of touch with technology and there's a nod to the Nintendo Power Glove, which was actually Paul's first commercial appearance
One of the funniest scenes I’ve ever watched.
That scene is hilarious and I watch it when I’m having a bad day. Never fails to make me laugh!
Omg! Yes! I forgot about that scene, and it was gold!
Paul is just brilliant. He's smart and funny, and just as gorgeous now as he was in Clueless.
Clueless was my FAVORITE and where I first discovered Paul Rudd 💚😍 he's an amazing actor!
Me too!
Same it was on yesterday I think I know most of the movie word for word
Romeo and Juliet and Clueless…😍
The Object of my Affection
Wish you’d spoken about some other kinds of movies he’s been in other than the judd apatow-esque ones… perks of being a wallflower and the fundamentals of caring are some of my favourite performances by him, would’ve loved to hear him talk about those ❤️
I really enjoyed Fundamentals of Caring. Good movie.
I stumbled across Fundamentals of Caring years ago (had never heard of it prior to just randomly seeing it while scrolling through Netflix) and I legit LOVED it. I've recommended it to a lot of people
Bro fundamentals of caring is a great movie wish he talked about that one
romeo and juliet. it was a bit part but still.
Your right, I was jealous of the scenes with Alicia.
just now realizing how calming his voice is, he should read audiobooks
He's already done an audio book.
@@KW-ro5ow i went and looked after i posted my comment and saw that. Tishomingo Blues by Elmore Leonard is in my cart now.
That's the one I have. I'm in the UK and had to import it. Enjoy.
He also narrated that planet earth-like nature show on AppleTV+. Great voice.
he sounds like a AI i cant tell if this is actaully him or not because hes so monotone
My favourite of his performances is in “Our Idiot Brother” and hardly anyone has ever seen it! So underrated
I love that movie, so underrated and such an amazing performance by Rudd!!!
It stinks
I'm gutted he didn't talk about that film. The opening scene in that movie is brilliant :D
i was disappointed that movie didn't make the list
@@sahej6939the hole in your mom that you crawled out of stinks
Paul Rudd is so chill ❤ he has such such a calm, soothing voice
I Love You, Man is one of the most underrated comedies this century. I rewatch it at least once a year
What a genuine, down to Earth guy. No wonder he's so easily likeable in his roles
He’s got great range. Consistently awesome in everything he’s in, even his performance in Perks of Being a Wallflower is impressive.
yes! forgot about that
It's a deeper cut I suppose, but Wanderlust is one of my favorite comedies of all-time, easily. His monologue in the bathroom mirror could have me laughing on my deathbed.
Omg yes!!!!!!!!!!
@@jessicagentry5338 But that whole movie is just gold I think. Anything by David Wain is just 😂🤣
@Peavey311 I'm gonna pop off a piece of my diiyukk!
Wet Hot American Summer is one of my all time favorites. And his role of Andy - omg so good. I love that cast so much for coming back together not once, but twice after to create a prequel series and the 10 yrs later series. Phenomenal crowd. ❤❤❤❤❤
That whole interview could have been Paul Rudd just talking about Wet Hot American Summer and I would have gladly watched every second.
Puke
I am so happy to hear him say he loves every single part of Wet Hot American Summer, bc i've shown a lot of people that movie and they just don't get some of it, and I think it's perfect
Story of my life
The first 25 seconds of this video just confirms for me why I love Paul Rudd's sense of humor.
Such a great actor. His role in "Wet Hot" is one of the most amazing comedic performances ever put on film.
As many great roles as Rudd has had, I still think there's a lead that's waiting for him that shows the best of what he can do that hasn't happened yet.
I would argue Living With Yourself is his magnum opus. Sad he didn’t mention it here
His hair and skin are flawless
I Love You Man is legit one of my favourite movies just because of how good it makes me feel. All the actors seem like they're having fun and the lines are so memorable.
Tane better be in this. Absolutely iconic and multi-faceted performance which, I can definitely get into.
the fact that role models was not one of the films mentioned is an absolute upset
I Love You Man and Forgetting Sarah Marshall are two of my favourite comedy’s ever. They’re so re watchable and hilarious.
This is the best break down I've seen an actor do! Love that he shares those favorite scenes and gives his perspective on them.
I never really think of Paul as the guy I go to see... but he's in most of my favorite movies, including every one here which are all great. I now realize I am, in fact, going to see Paul.
Exactly how I see him
I really like Paul Rudd, he seems like a great guy. I hadn't seen it in so long, I never realized that he was the guy in Clueless. I wish he would have talked about being Mike in Friends. The first so many movies he speaks about are ones that my wife and I watched many times together and they are special to me. She passed suddenly at the end of 2020 ( You don't need to say you're sorry or anything, it's cool). I'm surprisingly upbeat for someone who lost their soul-mate and will be alone until they die. Watching the films we used to like together makes me happy, and so does this video, Laura would have liked it I know.
Bobby Newport is still one of my favorite characters ever. “Ah fff- it’s not padded!” 😂
BOBBY Newport. BAHHBBY NEWPORT.

I love this, could watch it a million times. So chill, and enjoyable how he retells the story prior to & then following the clips.
he's very detailed in his analysis, you can tell he's not phoning in this interview. i love PR.
Never realized how ASMR'y Paul Rudd's voice really is...
Rudd is part of the holy trinity of kindest men alive, alongside Keanu Reeves and Tom Hanks.
How is it that this guy NEVER ages??? Love him!!
He's like Andrew Garfield because both actors we're just pretending to be younger while playing Spider-Man & Ant-Man.

Paul is immortal I swear dude hasn’t aged in 20 years.
Loved this man since friends, he is one of my fav! I will watch anything with him in it. Underated treasure fundamental of caring and I would have loved to hear him talk about it Would love to see a part 2!!
He's so the same in everything but gets away with it because he's great at what he does, and he's so charismatic.
Paul Rudd is totally a crush for me. He is such an amazing comedian and so fearless about it! Love ya Paul
One of my fave '.... breaks down His/Her Most Iconic Characters'........so many cool stories and really truthful and down to earth.
Paul is awesome. Would definitely buy him a beer next time he’s in Western Australia👊🏻😁🇦🇺🍻🍻🍻
I live in Western Australia buy me a beer instead 😂
Yeah Nah Yeah
What's living in Western Australia like?

I don’t know why “slapping the bass” endures 😂 but it is really one of those fun things to say, and definitely the first thing I would wanna call out to Paul Rudd if I were ever to stumble upon him.
Overnight Delivery is one of my favorite Paul Rudd movies. That film is SO slept on! Paul is a lovable gem, as always! 💛
The Stan Lee being happy about ant man being cast as a film to truly display the magnitude and differences in size that comics couldn't hit me in the feels.
GQ, whover your audio engineer is, give them a raise! i felt like Paul was inside my ear.
He is so funny and charming and interesting and seems so kind and genuine that you almost forget how handsome he is - but lord, he really is. I'm in my late 40's and I've basically had a crush on him for like 3 decades.
His career is so interesting, I’d wish he’d be given to do some more drama. He’s just an amazing person and celebrity. Great personality.
Highlight of my week. I think I smiled for 25 minutes straight
He's just so kind and down to earth! Love him!
I wish this was longer to include more of his amazing roles!
I love Paul Rudd, man. I just wish this had been another 3 or 4 hours longer.
One of my favorites of his roles is when he played Crap Bag in friends
That waxing scene was one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever watched. Kelly Clarkson!
My favorite line by Paul Rudd is "the weather outside is weather." Say it all the time.
Honestly one of my favorite performances of his has to be The Perks of Being A Wallflower. I hold that film so dear to my heart and his portrayal has always really spoken to me, despite not being a major part in the film (though I’d say his character was definitely very impactful, especially that “we accept the love we think we deserve” scene)
I absolutely love Paul Rudd he's such a great actor love him in every movie he's in can't believe how good this man still looks for he's age
The audio on his interview is so satisfyingly good
I already loved Paul Rudd and I didn't think it was possible to love him more....but this video did it. 😍
Your manager was wrong. Thousands of teen girls and and young women around the world fell for Paul Rudd over Clueless and that scene.
i wanna see 10 things Paul Rudd can't live without so i can finally see his skincare routine
Paul has so many great movies, I've seen every single one of these and I could mention like 20 more.
I'm shocked he didn't mention Our Idiot Brother, my favorite of his. Rudd turns naive goodwill into a superpower. Clever and sweet.
One movie with him that I LOVE and wasn't on that list is Role Models. I laugh so much watching it.
Yo Role Models needs MICH more love that movie slaps
Like many women my age I fell in love with Paul in Clueless and he's still one of my fave actors to this day.
I know this ain't a movie but his role as Mike Hannigan Phoebe Buffay's boyfriend/husband in Friends is iconic.
I just love Paul Rudd!
That "I have to go to this other chair....oh this is a better energy" is legit one of the most accurate portrayals of someone on mushrooms. That sense of discomfort, brought on by the emotional pain of the conversation, and the need to shift physically in order to manage it, feels extremely real. And thence hilarious.
I love that scene! "we're really high up!"
He seems like such a nice guy, this was a great breakdown.
"means chuck" always get's me hahahaha
I absolutely love I love you man. I’ve seen that movie so many times and I wish they’d make a sequel.
How do you not mention Friends? Literally one of the most iconic sit coms and he gave crapbag!
I love Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, I feel like comedic actors should get more recognition as good comedy is so hard to do.
I love him so much, such immense talent and so humble! The absolute best!
I'm in love of this man since I was like 8, when I saw him for the first time in clueless and I`m 35 now and I'm more in love... beside he didn`t get old at all
This whole interview should have just been the Mac and Me clip.
Paul Rudd is one of my favorite actors. Everything he plays is so creative. He has a great ability to make each character his own and create a realness about them. His role in the show Friends speaks to me on so many levels. Very talented individual.
There needs to be a part 2 of this.
What a nice and casual talk with a great human being 🙂👍🏼
