  • Been missing you Chris! I don’t know how we’ll get along without your cleaver fabricating. And Pam - building diffs, working on brakes and making a baby all at once! No worries Kevin; my first job was delivering parts. Just make Brit happy and all will be fine! LiteBriteNationFloorsIt!

  • It would be very interesting to see what a buggy built starting from an idea by Chris will turn out. Hint, hint. Love the details Chris pays attention to and how to make sure the client is happy with his work. So happy the bridge between Lite Brite and Chris is whole and strong. Thanks for sharing.

  • Larger master cylinders will create a lower pressure at the calipers with the same amount of force from your foot. 7/8 or 3/4 is as good as it’s going to get. Nobody, I mean nobody gets out of a buggy without power brakes, and says “that thing has great brakes.” If you had a tiny little sports car that weighed less than 2,000 lbs and had tiny little tires, sure you could live with manual brakes. Salvage yards have plenty of booster/MC combo’s from 3/4 or 1 ton trucks. Just make sure the truck your taking parts off of has rear disks.

    @neilkirkes@neilkirkes2 ай бұрын
    • Even if it has drum rears there is a valve you can remove from the outlet on the master cylinder so it works correctly.
