Mojang just announced the new Copper Golem Minecraft mob for the Minecraft Live 2021 Mob Vote! So... I ruined it.

The Copper Golem is an interesting new Minecraft mob which may be in the Minecraft 1.19 new update. This new Minecraft mob which will likely be released in Minecraft 1.19 [if it wins the Minecon Live Mob Vote] randomly presses copper buttons and can oxidize. Copper Golem randomizer, anyone? Its fate will be decided at Minecon 2021 during the Minecraft Mob Vote, where it will go up against the Minecraft Glare and the Minecraft Allay. This is how we got Minecraft phantoms and Minecraft glow squids. Will Dream rig the Minecraft Mob Vote this time?
Put a thousand Copper Golems with a thousand keyboards in a room, given an infinite amount of time, you'll either get Shakespeare or they manages to code themselves to evolve sentience.
This is basically the minecraft equivalent of the Infinite Monkey Theorem lol

One smart thing about the golem is you can adjust the golems speed. Wait for the Golem to oxidise and begin to slow down and you then wax them at that time, setting their speed permanently.

There is a modpack called "Better Minecraft" it already has the underdark/sculkers/mooblooms/warden/etc literally each and every mob vote/biome vote mob has been modded into the game remember the first vote between the hostile mobs a/b/c/d where phantom won? all implemented. I was playing on the modpack and got killed by the great hunger lizard mob they are poorly implemented and unbalanced sure the underdark isnt below bedrock but a block that spawns on the current bottom of the world and when you mine this block it teleports you into a new dimension called the underdark Ill be honest you can TELL when a mob is modded in vs a Minecraft mob. There is distinctions in the AI. uses for the blocks When Minecraft does an update it changes the base game itself, adding in new features and changing the CORE itself its streamlined perfected and released with a few bugs here and there and balance updates a few months after the initial update release. modders will add a mob and then ignore it entirely. Minecraft devs will realize that snow takes too long to fill up a cauldron and increase the speed TLDR: mods are cool and fun but most of the time slightly scuffed

In the future we'll see copper boi and many other requested mobs but idk why the community is fighting over such little things, they're cringe trying to make this fanbase cringy for others, literally what happens to most game's fandom.

This with the allay give you an automatic netherite farm. The copper golem mines everything with enchanted netherite pickaxes if possible, while the glare picks ancient debris up and brings the to you.

Glare only detects areas with no light
Alay does not duplicate items if you give one cobblestone to it then it will pick up cobblestone that you mine not just dupe it

This is why I always loved the copper golem to be added, they seem like they have the personality of a robot minion that just wanted to have fun with buttons

thats because they where working on ideas + textures for long time. this guy already had the texture and mojangs idea + other stuff. all he had to do is just code it into game.

@@Wiiownyou "The laziest developers around" yeah the developers that barely got any rest or sleep while working on the cave update and were stressed they wouldn't be able to finish the update in time, They were so tired they had to split the update into two parts. If you even watched their video you would see that they looked like they haven't slept in two days. Agnes looked like she would fall asleep any second. but yeah "laziest developers around". Working on two versions of the game and making sure that whatever works in one version works in the other and that they both get completed at the same time, Plus making sure the new world generation doesn't destroy any old worlds. But yeah its so easy right?
@@AhmedAhmed-ii4pe there's separate teams for Bedrock and Java, so that point is automatically invalid And saying they were tired after working on 1 update is kinda wild. Yeah, they could've been really tired after that, but still there's no way it takes months to make a new mob. I could brainstorm a new mob, make it, texture it, and code it in json with a behavior pack in about 2 hours (can't imagine it takes that much more time in C++ or Java, I've also used these to code before). And the best part is that I'm just 1 person and they have a team of people. It's bull and you know it.

@@mr.temtem4884 not true, it was specifically stated that the mob vote only has 1 mob being put in with the rest scrapped, this is completely different from he biome vote where they said that the biome updates will all be in the game
@@mr.temtem4884 since the frog is from the biome vote and not the mob vote we already knew from the start that it would be in the game, in the first mob vote it was stated that only the winner will be in game, this means we won't be getting any of the losers from the mob vote

Giving copper golems the ability to randomly mine blocks corresponding to the type of tool their given would actually be pretty cool.
Copper golems can just become stills. Maybe make it so they can’t break specific blocks, so you can line a cave with said blocks and a small area that just has normal stone in said cave and they’ll just create MORE cave, combine it with the allay to let them pick up the ores that the golem mines and boom! More automation!

Imagine having the allay, the copper golem, and the glare in a cave. The copper golems can help you mine, once you find a diamond, you give it to the allay and will start getting the diamonds, and the glare can warn you from mobs

Most games have a loading screen with hints, and Minecraft is no exception, but often enough I don't get read the entire hint before the world finishes loading. What if there's something important or funny that I'm missing?
or make there are chances it types in different commands like 0.001% of it typing a useful cheat like /give @urname diamond block and like 0.01% to do a bad command. idk just my thoughts

@Hyper Speed First: they give another use to copper, Second: They are not going to be pressuring buttoms at that speed as this guy in the video is showing, and they are going to be super helpful for farms and defence (they act as mini iron gollems, but of course they're WAY weaker). Third: Allay only collects items that ARE on the ground so no, you can't sit your ass all day and expect it to give you the word, it's only use is to get things you dropped. you can use copper keyboard to well make copper golems type randomly after whitch if you make a set up like its a real office of something it will look like they are doing work

This version of the Copper Golem and today’s version of the Allay could be very useful when it comes to mining
The problem wasn't that u created this but rather the fact how hy began mining both dirt and wood with a pickaxe before any form of stone
I can feel Mumbo Jumbo would love these Copper Golems and find good use for them
there are already a lot of radomizers in redstone. u could even put a chicken in a closed one block wide cage with pressure plates so where ever the chicken walks it will give an output signal.

@@Elipson52008 I mean, most of it it's gonna be coblestone but even then, if you go around like an allay just back and forth picking stuff and putting it in chest it's still a pretty fast way of working.

Too bad ppl went for the duplicator, like minecraft mob vote ever vote the good one, they always vote the one that they think it is cool, and then get disappointed, they voted for a literally duplicator, sounds cool at first, but when you think of it, what would he rlly do in a survival game? Copper golem would function alot more uniquely as they can be spawn naturally in dungeon and will activate traps n stuff before you kill them off. The dup guy can only dup item or something, it would definitely help on farming, but i suppose Mojang wouldnt nerf it or something, what happen if it function the same way as gold trading, and we ended up getting a passive pigman reskin instead?
