Hey just wanted to clarify, your math for dual casting is actually wrong. If you read the perk, dual casting increases spell damage by 125% while doubling cost. That means, if a spell does 100 damage and costs 100 mana, dual casting it would increase the cost to 200 while increasing damage by 125% which would be 225 damage. This makes complete sense because if I were to cast the spell in each hand, the cost would be 200 mana and I would be doing 200 damage because each cast is doing 100 damage. Now with dual casting, the cost is the same but you get an extra 25% damage.
You are correct, but when dual-casting, I believe it multiples both "hands" by 125%, meaning you would do 250 (125+125), not just 125% to one "hand".

A heads up for those wanting to do picklocking scrolls (Knock): To make a scroll of Knock I (opens up to adept locks), you need the SPELL Knock II (normal opens apprentice locks and empowered/dual cast opens expert locks), with the spell Knock I it will not work. And for a scroll of knock II (opens up to expert locks), you need the spell knock III (normal opens adept locks and empowered/dual cast opens master locks). Also there are no scrolls that can open master locks. Why is this a little nuanced? Balance most likely.
Do you mean "to make a scroll of knock II (opens up expert locks)"? Maybe I'm misreading, but Knock I unlocks adept, Knock II opens Expert & Knock III unlocks Master locks.
@@Its-SKs Yep, I was traveling so my memory failed me and confused things a little bit, edited the original comment to make it true. But yeah, a scroll of knock I needs the spell knock II to be made, most likely for balancing purposes.
Thanks for the video! Probably a silly question but I’m new to wildlander and haven’t played Skyrim in 5+ years: how are you switching spells so fast? Is there a way to keybind different spell loadouts?
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm not super proficient with the keybindings, so I'm sure there's a better way to do it. What I do is favorite the spells, and then you can designate them 1-8 (just hit 1, 2, 3, etc.) from the favorites menu. Then, when you're playing, just press the corresponding number, and the spell will appear in your left hand. Press the number again for it to appear in your right hand as well.
I have an update for you: I asked the discord, and you can group the spells inside the favorites menu and assign them as F1, F2 or F3 which will allow you to pull up two spells at once instead of all of them individually. I hope this helps!

Whys ur cape transparent in one of the scenes
It was very cold in Windhelm so I used the Mage Cloak spell (which is the transparent cloak).
You can attack Calixto before he kills them in the market.
How does that work? I tried killing him in the market before he could murder the victim but he took 0 damage until afterward 😲
@@Its-SKs All I know is in vanilla you could attack him as hes starting to walk towards their back with his weapon drawn. I don't see why any mod would change that, maybe it's vanilla behavior to make him invulnerable up until he draws his weapon, and you were attacking too early.
@@Its-SKs Might be immune during the attack animation? I normally shoot him with a crossbow with poison. As soon as he brings out the dagger and starts moving he's fair game. Same with the forsworn guy in Markarth.
I think you're right, I tried killing him during the animation (was trying to make sure the quest was successfully finished). Poor Viola 😭😅
@@Its-SKs Eh I used the time shout and killed him as he walked towards the woman.
