The roar is right out of the movie. The sound at the start of the roar is from the healing injector when the predator healed in the movie after his arm was cut off.

The 80's laser sound at the beginning of the roar was the sound they used when the city hunter predator injected himself to heal his wounds, it being horribly painful resulted in the roar. So they took the exact audio clip from the movie for him.

yeah in real life logic this thing would be used against heavy armored opponets, it would eat through the armor like termite and make the target panic or rise the temperature inside the armor to cook him alive. In game this thing should always be used on stationary targets like people who mudbutt up or getting trapped, its great to hit and disappear, getting 0 dmg and let the fire do dmg.

Cartonz, the launcher does fire dmg, and you can stack of with the net gun, and the katana with bleed dmg, if you get it just right, you can one shot the a ft member with the katana using this combo, it's sooo good
It's not a oneshot if you have to use 3 weapons to do it.

I think a better way to put it would be that you can down a full health fireteam member by comboing net gun into fire damage, followed by one katana strike. If they don't get a heal in the meantime, they go down. It allows you to get a good burst of damage from 3 strikes, rather than reliable damage from multiple melee strikes. And it doesn't eat into your energy bar, just requires hella good aiming.

I feel like you're using the rocket like a primary when it functions more like a secondary. I think if you used it to supplement instead of main damage, it'd be more useful. i.e. It'd be great for getting someone off an objective.

I think so too, honestly my favorite predators are the urban hunters(Predator 2, Predator: Concrete Jungle) and I believe they could do it well if they simply made it be a war-torn battlefield, gives lots of opportunities for ruins/destroyed buildings. It could also provide some interesting new missions for the Fireteam, such as civilian rescue/escort and recovery.

The reason why the predator roar has the weird sound in the beginning is because it’s supposed to be like the movie and it’s supposed to be lightning as he is roaring instead it sound like a scream

Proposed changes for the fire rocket wrist launcher: - more on hit damage - small on hit aoe explosion that spreads fire on the ground which catches fire to those who enter - slightly less damage per second on the burn - slightly shorter burn time
Imagine if they fixed the rocket launch to be able to charge but when it charges it takes up 3 of the ammo as a max it would do quite a bit of damage and adding an area of effect that also catches things on fire and it also increases the speed that it travels

It would be really cool if one day they added an alien expansion pack where u can play as an alien vs the fireteam, on alien maps, then an avp mode would be dope as well, a good 1v1 mode
And maybe a game mode with some weaker aliens as the fireteam vs one predator

I like how the Smart Disk's throwing sound is the same sound pulled straight from AVP extinction (An AVP strategy game) when you have the disk thrower guys on the Predator campaign.

The sound before the scream when healing is the healing device making that noise .. it happens in the movies aswell. It goes off then he screams cause it hurts
Great vid Cartoonz, on the PlayStation 4 every Predator that's been added since the base game come out has been buggy doing that an more and they haven't fixed none of it yet. I be wanting to play as the new Predators but can't cuz they're all messed up, the only thing new that was added that isn't messed up or buggy was Dutch. And something that happened after the alpha predator was added was my mini gun if I hit zero rounds it will sometimes continuously make the shooting sound until I can get ammo an reload it.
Seems a good way to use the wrist launcher is after you get one in a bear trap hit with the launcher than wrist blade melee him, or when you already have one down hit the one who is trying to get him up with it then melee him down. Its not good for opening the fight its best to use when one is already down.
I also wouldn't recommend hitting the same guy with more than one launcher bc it seems like the benefit is negligible
That combo stick glitch happened to me as well but if you aim it out and aim it back then it should work better

Toonz the city Hunter is a glass canon just like the scout so you have to pick them off one by one. Plus the female predator roar has changed as well. Plus the roar for the city hunter is when the predator had to perform a quick surgery on his severed arm.

So they added new roars? It would be cooler if they did a new intro animation ( like if the predator decloaks as he sees the helicopter fly into the hunting grounds, or when the fire team flies in, the predator is finishing up with a previous hunt)
Wrist launcher is pretty damn good if used right. I shoot and when they're on fire I jump in with the combistick for an extremely quick takedown.

Cartoonz, the laser sound from the City Hunter's roar is from the movie, probably the developers got the roar directly from the movie or a video (that laser sound is when the City Hunter's injects himself after fighting Harrigan) a minor detail, but steals some of the magic
22:00 That laser sound that you hear right before the roar is the sound of the med injector puncturing the chest. You see in the bathroom scene in Predator 2.
I haven’t played the game but the fire arm cannon could be used more tactical and see if you can use it to force them somewhere seeing that being on fire like that means you’ll probably need to hide to get it off and recover, oh and I watched another guy play he has the same bugs
