    • The fact that Levan was putting force in Devon's arm during setup goes to show you that Levan wasn't afraid to test his stamina and strength against Devon. I think the fact that Devon just said he was putting everything in Levans arm and Levan was just standing there holding him in round 2 just shows you the strength gap and how impossible it is for Devon to close that gap with just superior stamina. You can listen to what he says at 6:15 .

  • It seems to me that part of what really makes Devon a champ is his ability to step back, absorb the loss, but to also be introspective about it to figure out how to be better next time.

    • It wouldn't matter because the Denis Cyplenkov match is proof of that. Levan is at Denis Cyplenkov's strength and possibly more.

  • "A lot of people would have stopped" Every match that night before that one the westerners stopped/quit due to injuries much less severe. Lost some respect for them, but gained a lot more for Devon. True warrior.

    • It's not your body. This is frankly dumb thinking. Like fans on the sidelines criticizing a boxer for not getting up or not answering the bell. You aren't the one getting punched and hurt.

    • @@seruresto1386 I didn't say they themselves are any less for it, simply stating my opinions. I'm free to feel any type of way for any reason. They are still incredibly strong athletes and I wish them well, just for my own lifestyle and how I see things I wish they would have shown a bit more fighting spirit. You and I'm sure many others will disagree with how I see it and that's fine. I'll still be rooting for them in their upcoming matches.
