Drill powered go kart made with bicycle parts and square tubing. It'w suprisingly fast, and it's possible to change gears for more speed, or for more torque.

  • Absolutely love it! Just putting the finishing touches to a drill-kart and have used various bike parts including the v-brakes to work the drill’s trigger as a throttle. Will upload a little video as I think easy enough for you to do on that one. Hope he enjoyed it - my girls will be test driving theirs tomorrow

  • Hi, Dieter! Great Job! Can I ask you, how long the kart can drive using the drill? Maybe it is very strong loading for the drill's engine?

  • Excellent 🔥. Add a steel rope to tie it around the trigger of the go kart and with a gas pedal it will be easy to maneuver and gain more speed. But anyways great work. Making one for myself. lol won't need a car then. Thank you for making this 🔥🔥🔥

    • Thanks. I added a pedal with a wire after i made the video. The batteries don't last too long but with a couple of batteries and a repid charger it's possible to have lots of fun.

    • @@DieterSchneider I think one more drill will add to the fun. I get it batteries don't really last long. But still have fun 🙂

  • Gday mate. What’s the difference between attaching the drill to the sprocket with the chain or just attaching the drill straight to the first sprocket or the wheel itself with out the chain. Cheers

  • How does the kart change gears? I am also curious if the cart can freewheel or does the trigger of the drill always have to be engaged?

    @majdismail4573@majdismail45733 жыл бұрын
    • It's not possible to change gears while driving. I am planing to make a hinged platform to make it easy to loosen the chain and change gear. Should be possible to use te bicycle gear mechanism though. It can freewheel so the drilldon't need to be engaged.

    • You can sort of change gears for some drills because they usually have two or three power settings, you just need a quick way to shift through them...

  • I'm planning to make something similar for a school project and doing some research right now do you think an 18v drill could carry an 80kg guy +like 10-15kgs body of the kart
