I missed the deadline for my video today, but technically still hit the deadline, because here's a video. In this video, you'll get a fully unscripted version of McGuire - which is just like the normal McGuire, but in a high wire act of words. Will I make it to the end? Is any of it coherent? Let's find out together.

  • I have a theory that McGuire's startup is merely a construct used to interject context and give opportunity to add additional purpose and validity to each and every video. Very similar to how Columbo would reference his fictitious wife, "Mrs. Columbo", to elaborately and intelligently steer the conversation in any direction he wanted to solve the case he was on. Will there eventually be a real startup? Probably. But for the exact same reason they created a Mrs. Columbo series. Carry on McGuire. But ... just know, I know. 🕵

    • Man, that would be an excellent bit. I could be a career fictional stealth startup founder. But the best part? Decades later I would retire, and people would remember me as "he was working on something, and he was doing it for a very long time."

    • Is it a flickering between beige/gray/taupe colors? Sometimes that’ll happen when KZhead re-encodes the video - it might help to change the playback quality to see if you notice a difference.
