  • "Concert for the crickets" will forever be branded on my soul, it's not only willpower that keeps me going right now but Ryan's lyrics and soothing vocals make me feel what I won't allow myself to feel and Lord knows I needed to. The flick of the air freshener has a profound meaning I'm not even sure Ryan himself understands why it would tug at my heartstring like it did.   • Omg I adore the way you sing this song Soo much 🥰. Thank you Ryan for always giving us the real you❤.Life's been rough this past week. My dad, about to be 90, fell 2x in 2 days and hit his head both times , the 1st time he fell after getting out of bed & hit his head on the corner of the table & he had a bad cut that bled everywhere. We took him to the hospital and he had tests done & got 5 staples. He had a concussion. Then he fell the next night in the bathroom & fell into the tub & bumped his head again but not as bad. I can't tell you how hard it was seeing my Dad who was always strong in every way be Soo scared & vulnerable. And seeing my Dad covered in blood not knowing where the blood was coming from at 1st . Very traumatic for us all. I bought my dad a bunch of stuff to help him. Got him a bed rail, a porta toilet so he can pee in that in his room next to his bed instead of having to walk through the house to get to the bathroom when he's half awake at night & during the day it's easier cause he won't have to walk up the steps constantly. I got him a walker & something that goes over the toilet that has 2 handles so he has something to hold onto when he does use the bathroom toilet & needs help getting up or something. We are trying to get him a neurologist appointment too. I've been afraid to sleep at night because I'm afraid he'll fall again somehow. We don't let him walk anywhere in the house without one of us walking with him just in case he loses his balance. He's doing much better now but it's just been very scary to experience this & I'm Soo worried about him. I'm very close with my parents & I love them more than I can express. So it's hard watching old age catch up to him. He didn't even retire until 4 years ago. He was a butcher/meat cutter working in the freezing cold everyday for decades. It's been a very stressful time for me Ryan & your music gives my soul & my brain a beautiful feeling of peace & calm & happiness, so thank you for being You🥰🥰. Your music means a lot to me.
