I love how they've given everyone a personality in here, even the toads Mario is dramatic and energetic Peach is a cutie Toad is a little bae Yellow Toad is shy Blue Toad is a "coward" and sloww I really hope the next main Mario game keep this aspect that Mario games always lacked: personality.
That's one of the things I really love about the Mario & Luigi RPGs; the cast feel like they have more personality and of course, you have an actual story. (I truly cannot comprehend why Miyamoto would be anti-story stories are fun!) And of course, there's plenty of Mario and Luigi interactions in those games which I cannot get enough of. But yeah, Mario is far more relatable when he's allowed an actual personality of sorts, not just the Everyman. Hopefully, AlphaDream will be revived and we'll get more RPGs and also more action-adventure games like this. :)

Alright, I'm not holding back: I love these cutscenes. Luigi and the others are so smoothly animated and the little details of Mario and Luigi's brotherly love is there like with their hug and them saying "night night" and "way to go bro". And Mario and Peach's relationship is there too like when Mario is beside peach and wants to protect her. *you can see it if you look for it*.It's so WHOLESOME. And the toads are so cute, I mean they squeak now, I repeat they squeak! THEY SQUEAK !
I love how the toads are progressively getting less annoying with each Mario game. Less squealing and more squeaking.

Here however, it seemed like he wants nothing to do with the Last Resort, and if someone who's interested in ghosts gets scared? You're dealing with some very dangerous spooks! Plus, getting stuck in a painting certainly didn't help.

Characters have more emotion, even King Boo, Lips sync with voice clips despite not being fully voiced, Mario and Luigi have new voice clips, cutscenes are CGI glory. All we need now is full voice acting that’s actually good, and the Mario series will finally be modernized in terms of visuals and storytelling!

FUN FACT did you know certain cutscenes actually alter when you play Co-op? I discovered that when i faced the cop ghost with my friend where Gooigi actually says I Did it as well making Luigi slightly disturbed

@@tinytaleah Gooigi is actually sentient, but follows Luigi's commands. Gooigi makes subtle gestures to Luigi, such as waving, that Luigi didn't tell him to make. Plus, Luigi leaves him to live with the ghosts in the new mansion.
@@mamaluigi1723 There's actually a whole story about how Gooigi was made written by E Gadd, and he actually explains how Gooigi is sentient and also controlled by Luigi. There's some sort of pad on the Poltergust G-00 that's pressed against Luigi's back. When Gooigi is released, Luigi can use that to transfer his consciousness into Gooigi. That's why in single player whenever Luigi controls Gooigi, he's always slumped over with his eyes closed and can only make small movements like give a thumbs up.

Super Mario Odyssey came out early in the system’s life, before they entirely understood what the switch was capable of, 2 years later, mario maker 2 and luigis mansion 3 come out using the switch’s full potential.

King Luigi Yeah but think that they had to remake it for newer hardware, so they probably did some revamping, that was not possible on Wii U. Honestly odyssey is between botw and lm3 levels of Wii U. One being very Wii U, and the other being smooth silky switch.
I just love Charles martinet can we just appreciate this man again like we always do but really appreciate it it's games like this. His acting is phenomenal this is all these aren't words these aren't word these are gibberish these are just noise it and yet he can still play two or more characters making gibberish and still never play the same voice. You can never mistake Mario for Luigi the days in which Luigi was just a green panel swap have been dead for decades I know but it's games like this that make you realize why

Finally coming back here after completing the game and seeing all these. Oh my GOD! I love this game's cutscenes. Absolutely adorable to see Mario, Luigi and co. so expressive like this. The voice acting is also surprisingly great. I was a bit concerned because Luigi's early game screams and grunts seemed kind of...Off, almost like Charles' age was starting to show. However it just appears to be a few awkward takes as Luigi definitely started to sound like Luigi again. The other characters are also great, both performances at 1:02:09 are especially top notch.

Besides Mario is completely unprepared, no power ups, no poltergust of his own, nothing, Luigi was right to try and get Mario out of there

I feel like king boo has changed . Not only because of how slow he moves, but he also has a harsh look on his face, can use his tounge to litrally do everything, and he tries to get rid of this world the best way possible because of how many times he lost. He also,gives us more clues that he possessed bowser. Like the fireballs shooting out of his crown. So a lot of new theories will be coming soon,
he gets a diffrent gem for his crown evrey game. 1. a red dimond wich i guss despite being worth 1 coin it has illusion powers. 2. some cursed gem wich i guss gave him and all the boos the power to cast spirit balls and king boo got size changing power with lighting powers. 3. a strange gem that seems to have the oppesit effect of the dark moon as well as giving king boo fire power also your king boo possed bowser theory is a stretch and you know it.

Mario, Luigi, Yellow Toad and Blue Toad are in this game. The only time I've seen those 4 together are in the New Super Mario Bros games or in Mario 3D World.
And the Mario Galaxy games.
Only Blue Toad is in 3D World. 3D World had Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, Peach, and Rosalina.
