However, most people like power to weight, so starting out at 5000lbs isn't reasonable for 99% of car enthusiasts. At the end of the day the jeep is like a Tesla, it has a go fast button and you hold the wheel straight. That can get boring quick to people that actually know how to put cars into corners.
Thatt jeep wins auto magically, put a trailer with a car behind the subi and see how it does, all that weight omg, dodge may have learned to make strong parts lol

Would make a 2 hour seat repair turn into a 4 hour repair 😂 No one would green light that idea. All cooled seats are, is an additional sturdy layer with fans mounted to it, sandwiched between the seat cushion and seat frame. That means his seat coolers are only drawing electricity and has no effect on performance, I'm surprised he didn't know that, considering he "fully built" his motor

Bring a civic it'd run this thing down . Rally / kana cars are all balanced power band and torque for corners they're not tryna exceed speed limits so in reality they're the WORST drag cars aside from bad rwd non hooking cars .

Those were some really great races, jumping the start or not. That damn Jeep bloody well gets out, especially for how heavy it is. Can you imagine if they did some drastic weight reduction on the Jeep, it's frickin' game over for Travis.
The problem is you're arguing 780 hp in the STI vs the 1080 hp Trackhawk. This shouldn't even be a close race regardless of weight, especially considering they're both AWD. The hawk has about 300+ more hp and was still getting axed, that's why these guys knew to bet on Travis. I mean put into perspective the 'drastic weight reduction' with Travis last race with the built 1300 hp Altima, he still smoked it.
That jeep has no aero, so its weight is contributing a lot to its traction.

The sti has a higher power to weight ratio so If the trackhawk could lose some weight it definitely could be equal to or faster than the sti given the fact its awd as well. The Altima had a much higher power to weight ratio than the sti but it was a rwd drift car that couldn't hook for shit so of course the extra power doesnt matter at that point, if it was awd it would have smoked the sti.
