    • Navi is his best shot since it's his slow play for picks igl style that doesn't work for lots of teams especially individual skill based teams like g2. But navi is already a team that runs the time down and plays slow. So maybe this is the lucky break he's looking for?

  • The quality of players he had in OG, monesy being new to T1 and Jackz who is imo a lower level compared to others in his position, the inconsistency of all 4 of his fraggers in NIP, Rez and Konfig who were the literal reason they lost their last map at the major, sure keep blaming Aleksi for everything ya twats.

Would be completely unnecessary for G2 players to say "we actually liked Aleksi more" now that he's gone, thereby screwing HooXi over for no reason. G2 are in a tough spot. On one hand, their highs with HooXi at WF and Kato were great. On the other hand, their lows were so horrendously bad, losing to Tier 3 competition and massive tilting issues.

    • @@zettour. brollan said in the past that he joined nip in particular to be in an all swedish lineup and that got cocked up pretty fast. he didnt perform well in any international lineup. for a short period where nip had a swedish majority roster he did okay, like 1.09 rating avg.

  • I wish him good luck with the new job. I hope that none of the previous issues get in the way this time. I guess that this is the move that really needs to work out. He handled the interview like a model professional. Very eloquent and diplomatic. It will be really interesting to see how s1mple, Blade and Aleksi's thoughts combine and what the end results look like in the server.

  • I think people say he doesn't deserve it because of stats and KDR/ADR but its really hard to keep good consistent stats as an IGL which is what some people don't add into the picture. Don't listen to all of the hates, you got to where you are cuz ur best aleksi

  • Might be an unpopular opinion but out of all three changes NAVI made, this was actually the one which made sense to me the most. Even if clec and perfecto would have stayed, it was getting obvious that NAVI needed a proper IGL not because elec as an IGL was bad or something but he was clearly not the same rifler alongside s1mple that we have seen. It's sad that we may not seeit again- top teams scared of peeking in a 5 v 2 or something because those 2 alive are s1mple and elec lmao. But, hey it was apparently elec and perfecto who wanted to leave, so they had to replace them and I think they got the best of what was available.

  • Ive said it before and i’ll say it again. Boombla and aleksi are the best igls ever for navi. This is major winning squad. Aleksi is a super smart guy and his superior knowledge lets him do whatever he want for as long he wants putting his mind and sense above everyone elses. You can see he knows what things take time and what does not and he will keep at something which is not working rn but will work eventually if its done right. Just be yourself aleksi, fuck everyone else. Same for boombla but totally diff style, sadly he aint coming back so no need to talk abt him and feel worse.

    • @@matzk0840 Nah. If you watched it, it was clear Complexity had NIP's number. k0nfig was the only one on the server. If they didn't win both pistols and both conversions on Inferno, that series would've been an easy 2-0 for Complexity. NIP were incredibly scrappy throughout the series.

  • OG was much stronger with aleksi. G2 gave HooXi of all people way more chances and time, he s not even near to aleksis level. Nip did nip things and kicked him right when it started to click. Blade is no fool, there is a reason why he picked aleksi. This is gonna be good, just wait.

    • Hooxi gets the chances he gets because he's likable, aleksib has been quoted as unlikeable by many ex teammates including Niko and konfig. Hooxi may struggle with mechanics sometimes but he's just as much a brother to Niko as his own cousin hunter. This is an important part of teamwork as it establishes respect and trust which aleksib has failed to establish in any of his past teams. He literally got removed from ence because he slept with his teammates girlfriend. Just let that sink in.

    • Aleksib is clearly very arrogant and self serving and that's not good. Most top teams have a family/brothership complex and aleksib is a loner player. But it's this reason he might just work in navi. Navis team is as cold as aleksib is and they like slow playing the clock just like aleksib does. It's actually probably a pretty decent fit for him.

    • If you are talking about nip, aleksib was a standin while hampus was on mental leave. Hense why hampus is igl again now that he's back.

    • @@DomzyDX I feel like I have to correct you there: Aleksib joined in September 2022 while Hampus was in the team and that was supposed to be the lineup with Hampus moving away from the IGL role, but then Hampus went on leave in January 2023 and then k0nfig came in to replace him at least for the time being.

    • @@DomzyDX Correct, they hit #22 in April 2023 and their previous lowest ranking was #21 in June 2017.
