  • There are some materials that portrait artists also use: •Charcoal powder and Graphite •Makeup Brushes (smooth texture) •Kneaded eraser •White ballpen( for details) •Fixative (Varnish for longer preservation) In making charcoal or graphite powder, you could just buy some charcoal bars used in portrait drawings or 8b or 6b pencils and use the sandpaper to powderize the charcoal or 8b 6b pencils by scratching the charcoal and pencils on the sandpaper and you will be able to create charcoal or graphite powder and just put it on some dry container that has lid on it so you can use it next time. By using the charcoal or graphite powder you are not going to draw directly on the paper using charcoal or graphite.... using the makeup brush, just like on putting on makeup do it just the same on the charcoal or graphite powder and apply it on the paper and start creating the shadings, and use the kneaded eraser and white ballpen for detailings. These are gonna be very helful to you but if you already kniw this.... i just want to share my knowledge to you so you can also use this techniques. I hope this could help you

  • Did someone else did got creeped out by the "realistic" nose? That wasn't a useful tip at all, the perspective is just all over the place, I do draw portraits for people and that's a way of drawing a nose I would never suggest anyone

  • Heres a tip I've been drawing for two years now and i wish someone told me this before PRACTICE ANATOMY! Sure you can draw one pretty, realistic eye But if you dont work on anatomy you'll regret it later if you wanna get somewhere with your art Also do sketches! BE AS MESSY WITH YOUR SKETCHES AS YOU NEED! You dont need to do stickfigues with balls as joints. Do spheres! Never use ovals! Use triangles with rounded ends . wanna draw an arm use rounded triangles. Also for muscles. I see that theses videos dont do sketches and if they do its not helpfull or too complicated. Look up tutorials from people that know what they're doing NEVER GIVE UP!

    • I'm only 12 years old and i can draw very well . I can draw faces and portraits of toddlers and cute little kids. Every students in my class call me an artist because i can draw like a real artist,and everyone told me to help them to learn how to draw because they wanna draw like me . 😚😚🤗😎😄😄
