Sean Bean is a much underrated actor. When you watch stars like Al Pacino, Robert de Niro even, these days, Leo di Caprio you see the actor first and foremost. With Sean Bean you always see the character he is portraying.
Have you seen the Sharpe series really well done. Me and my mom enjoyed watching all of them. I recommend it.
@@rickzap7957 Yes, I have them all on DVD. An excellent series. He was born to play Sharpe.
he not underrated if you ask me
I don't know from underrated, but I get what you are saying. He's a character actor, Willem Dafoe, Val Kilmer... Loved the Sharp Series.
It shows how far down the rubbish chute UK drama has gone today when they have a history of making great dramas such as this in the near past . Thanks for the upload Joseph ,this is a gem which captures from the outset .
Big thank you for putting this show on KZhead.
I second that! Completely missed it when it was broadcast, never heard of it. First class thriller! Thanks!
Fantastic actor.
Great series great cast of actors
Sean Bean and Juliet Aubrey are awesome. Sean Bean is a star because of working in Hollywood. If Britain had its own film industry, Juliet Aubrey would be as well.
He's a star because of Sharpe, that started him off.
I'm an Australian, I can understand the accents perfectly?
People complaining about the subtitles should know that they are not subtitles. They are AI generated captions and the AI does not hear as a person would so most of what pops up bears little or no resemblance to what is actually said! 😅
Even in sharpe series sometimes I can’t understand what Sean Bean says . But I love his British accent.
To watch English movies or series I had to learn the way they speak and how they say things differently than we'd in USA. . It's been a great experience to learn about British culture It's added to the enjoyment of watching good programming.
As the Pilgrims originally arrived on the ‘Mayflower’ from England it shows how much the English language has changed since it arrived in America! Even the spelling differs..😅
Neil Burns, whose minds been wiped out, is portrayed Herculean, as a modern day "Jack the Ripper", employing his MI5 weaponized training against any and all avengable.Sean Bean's compelling character, couldn't even be created, mixing Rutger Hauer, Vinnie Jones and Patrick Swayze, ha!
As always, the kinetic and courageous Sean Bean is compelling. However, some objections, not to him, but the story. First, you would think that a fugitive who is so skilful and cunning at eluding his pursuers would have used a more convincing disguise. Following from that, second: it´s unlikely that the only two persons he is in close and constant contact with, the landlady and the owner of the taxi service, would not have recognized him from the photos shown all the time on t.v. news programs. Third, the owner of the car he stole would certainly have reported it to the police.. Granted, tracing stolen cars is not a priority, but I imagine that a clever copper would have wondered how Sean keeps popping up in different parts of the city, concluded that it was in a car and then matched the ones recently stolen with his escape from custody.
Just prior to his stealing the car from the airport parking area, the mother said they’d be away for two weeks. Sean Bean’s character said “That’s long enough!”.
Oops, should have been paying more attention, but my general point stands. As with the miraculous escapes when he is surrounded by the cops, it is a little too convenient to be true to life. As I said, this improbability goes with the genre, but to use it over and over again spoils the credibility of the whole. On a more general plane, a plot revolving around treachery within the gang, double cross, informers and so forth has been done to death in so many mafia movies, though I love ém. Same goes for the head of the gang being part of the Establishment, a cliche of spy movies. Still, in the end, it is just bubblegum for bored souls. Does anyone read a book nowadays? @@aliciarobertson4979
@@ayahuascaexpress5575 True what you say. I enjoy them by suspending belief! Yes, this aged great-gran devours books. Books let you imagine the characters as described. Sometimes the casting is all wrong compared to the written story. Always compare the book’s story to any screen adaptation too.
@@ayahuascaexpress5575Can't understand why you.watched it .
He clearly went to the Clarke Kent School of Disguise. Not quite sure why he trusted the woman he just saw having sex with the guy he just found out was probably part of the conspiracy against him. He does a lot of running away where it seems illogical for him to not get caught. Why was there one cop trying to arrest him and a bunch of others waiting vaguely around? Anyway, pointless chase scenes aside, it's been a decent watch. Amazing to have all these shows available for free nowadays. Otherwise I might have completed that novel, or learnt to knit.
His boat is all over the news and he’s still mooching about as a cabbie, wearing shades in a restaurant…interesting
Yep,u don't take it to seriously,u just go with the Flo..It's a little 'fugitive' with Harrison Ford, and a few other American, wrongly convicted,ex Cops movies mixed in the stew..But f##king 'Manc Town' for this all to be taking place in Is hardly South Beach,Miami or Las Vegas!!..
Lol. I'm 🇨🇦. Canadians light their sets.
Ha ha, the cab-company chap reading about English humour is the best character in the series. For all his gravity, he's funny without trying to be funny.
Great series
It's very good notwithstanding the incorrect spelling of liaison at 22:35
Love it
Fantastic! Many thanks 👍
The actor who played the mini cab owner is the star of this show
Very good overall.
Still 😍 loved???
This is a superb series, however the accents are difficult for this american to understand and the plot is becoming a bit lengthy. I did find using my Bose headphones made it a bit easier to follow along... and Sean Bean and Juliet Aubrey are phenomenal 😎
Yes
These are English accents mostly London, Manchester, perhaps Birmingham and Leeds
kinda dark had to watch
I'm at Part 3 and can't see a bloody thing. Darker and darker til I can't see anything. I give up also. I'll google and read the rest. Too bad.
Amendment to my previous comment. At the end, we find out that the woman with the kids whose car the hero stole at the airport was going on a long vacation, so it wasn´t reported as stolen. But how the hell did he know that at the time, she might be only have been going to meet her husband returning from a flight. Also, of all the cars you are going to steal, why one which looks so unusual? In other cases, I would tolerate a certain improbability in line with the conventions of the genre, like just happening to find himself alongside a pool of water, with a make-do breathing tube at hand, what´s more, when he is cornered by the law. On the other hand, once or twice is alright, but all these miraculous escapes, like jumping off a bridge or knocking down the bad guys who have a gun on him, well, it´s gets a bit tiresome in the end. Gripes of a thriller/Mafia movie addict.
If you listen carefully in the first episode, specifically in the airport car park scene, the mother tells the child that they’ll just be away for two week and SB’s character overhears her.
The woman literally says they will be away for two weeks. Maybe this is not for you. Better to watch Gomorrah or Montalbano, no inconsistences there 😄
I can't understand their accents and the subtitles make absolutely no sense.
These are English accents mostly London, Manchester, perhaps Birmingham and Leeds
👍👍❤

endless chases
Who is Mrs Evans? 36:40
I´ve always liked Australia.
indian guy got balls
he Loves a trap
After watching part 2 i found it too drawn out and got bored with it. Sean Bean is a cracking actor....but i couldn't hack this.
Far too long , should have been two episodes.
Whoever writes the sub-titles needs sacking, absolute rubbish, and bear no resemblance to the dialogue.
Typical British move filmed with only a 40 watt blub. Refuse to listen to a movie I should be able to watch.
