Eddie Hearn himself said on the press conference that guys like Michael Hunter, Luis Ortiz, Andy Ruiz and Charles Martin did not accept to fight Hrgovic, they clearly backed dafuq away from the challenge. He is way too dangerous for them, but obviously his promotors need to step in and splash out whatever cash is neccessary. If they did that, they would have taken the fight. Seems like Sauerland's are a bunch of cheapskates, and in order to move to big fights, you have to pay your opponents properly. Money talks, but if Hrgovic can prove himself in the next fight, and Hearn promised it would be a big one, then who knows what the future has in store for this beast.
I completely agree... if Hrgovic wants to progress in future he either needs to drop Sauerland's and move to the next manager or they need to splash shitload of money
the promoter just needs to put enough money on the table for the opponents they just are not ready to do it to push a croatian guy. and the germans are anyway parsimonious and stingy people. hrgovic should change promoters and go away from these germans.

Met this guy working at mam fight shop in Miami back then and he was ice cold super nice guy but just cold and few words straight killer energy, told me about the bronze medal he won like it was nothing and that’s about it, I’m excited to see how he does with top guys and considering he sparred with top heavyweights since he was 19

I just did and it was nothing to write home about, the other top fighters are faster, more explosive and probably punch harder than him so I'm not sure whether your perception of Hrgovic is correct.

For the top 10, Hrgović is best avoided. He's clearly extremely dangerous. But has low box office appeal. So it's a bad risk / reward ratio. I think the only ones who will consider taking him on will be ones with a lot of speed, who are confident they can stay away from that right hand. Joseph Parker is a possibility if he can't land a title shot straight away. Although I'm not sure JP is fast enough to stay completely out of trouble against Hrgović.

Ahmatovic fought under worst circumstances. 1 week before the fight He decicded to challenge Hrgovic. No preparation time and the only big problem was his persistence in the fight. I would love to see Ahamtovic with full preparation than the fight would definetly end up different. Still congrates to Hrgovic'
