  • Juan Martín del Potro was a legend of tennis, and will always be a legend. Thank you so much for your many years in the sport Del Potro, you might never read this, but you have no idea how influential you were to my success as a Middle, and High School tennis player. Watching you play in the mid 2010s was the greatest thing I ever saw, and changed so many things regarding how I approach the game. Your fight against federer in the 2009 US open was the greatest thing I ever witnessed as a child and what you did for the sport isnt able to be put into words. Espero que estés disfrutando de tu jubilación, Rey del Potro. King of the Colt.

  • Delpo....man that was sad to watch. Gotta give him credit for even just trying to come onto court and give it his all after three years of agonizing and endless pain. One if the unluckiest guys ever in terms of injury 😭 Kokkinakis: another thats had to contend with multiple injuries...then wins his first title and does it at home. Alcaraz: JC Ferrero was not in Miami all tournament due to his father passing away, but managed to make it for the final. Davidovich....yes Novak was nowhere near his best and recovering from illness and the massive mental blow of the AO saga, but gotta credit ADF for holding it together after losing the second set in heartbreaking fashion. Well deserved win and moment for him. Gilles simon...peaked in Paris twice this year. Got some amazing wins at FO and Bercy. RBA: he has an amazing family. His kid is so cute 🙏🙂 Rogers farewell.....this should be #1. Most emotional farewell in tennis history possibly. One of those things that was so difficult to watch and made grown men cry real tears non stop for close to an hour....but you couldnt stop watching. Fritz....did it in his home state and ended Nadals 20 match win streak. Fritz almost didnt play the final after hurting his foot in practice! Powered through and won! Andy Murray...nothing to say other than....what an inspiration this man is. Novak Djokovic: I will admit im not a fan of him and I dont agree with much of what hes done and some things he has said. That being said....for him to keep powering through after how this year started, AO deportation, early loss in Dubai to a qualifier ranked outside top 100, then first round loss to ADF in Monte Carlo, then getting bagelled in front of his home crowd in Belgrade....he kept pushing, won Rome, Wimbledon and ATP Finals. Plus a 500 and a 250. Mental BEAST.
