They always had the strongest handshake.
carlsen and dubov are teammates 😂🤣😂

I watched most of Magnus's games...he never shook a hand with more respect than he did with Dubov.
they are good friends
And you never humped a leg harder than Magnus's.
of course, he loves that guy!
dubov is part of MG's preparation team
Oh please! Let go of Dubov’s balls…😂
0:51 the way he sits down...
Magnus: hush shhhs hussh Dubov: hsssh hushhh shhushh
As a person with master's in phonology and getting the phd: that was very accurate without headphones

That was very obvious..
They spoke in russian?
Just love the way Dubov Sat, thats how I sit usually
School nerd typa sitting style
Dubovs chair was almost across the border in Russia
Thank you ChessBase India for putting out great content for us fans to enjoy. Appreciate the great work! Cheers!
Must've been the most emotional handshake in chess history
It’s a rule of chess. When Magnus extends his hand, you extend yours.
dubov and carlsen are teammates😂🤣😂
Did Magnus lose?
What a comment! Love it!

Gotta love when the world's best acknowledges the world's most creative. Funny enough, Dubov exercised a lot of patience in that ending. There were many times where I expected Ke6, only for him to sit on f7 and then later on play Kg7 to assist in eliminating his position's only clear cut weakness (the h pawn, funny enough.)
That has to be the best handshake of all time
Magnus: "Yeah, strange. Queen side's just too good for me." And Dubov was something like, "Yeah it looked too chaos. it was way too strong." Referring to the 4 on 3 pawn advantage Dubov had on the queen side in the endgame, likely the reason for Magnus' draw offer.
you sure it was “good”? the queen side was better for dubov i think he said “big”
@@anthonychen7224 The queen side was better for Dubov, that's what he was saying. "[Your] Queens side's just too good for me."
@@YuGiOhPrO373 ah makes sense
@@UnSenorMuySerio Okay well that's what Magnus said so either you know better than him or he was referring Dubov's queen side earlier in the game. Unless you think Magnus said something different...?
@@UnSenorMuySerio you don't know what you're talking about... dubov pushes the c7 pawn to support the b5 square, and then pushes the b6 pawn and sacrifices one pawn in the process. Then, he would sacrifice either the a or c pawn by pushing it and eventually promote the final pawn, as long as the white king is far enough away and the black king/bishop has sights on the passed white pawns. Classic dunning-kruger effect
the pawn fidgeting from dubov is master class!
This is a hand shake you give to an old friend
Gangster sit position from Dubov
Gangsters don't sit on their nuts 🤣

I'm sitting like that watching him sit like that playing chess against Magnus
The piece twiddling battle of the century when they both start after it 😂
Would really appreciate it if you guys start putting digital boards at the top/bottom/side of the video so we can see and understand the positions much better
no technology for that yet.
@@smashthestateX you didn't get it, he was saying about adding the vidual board upside by editing, previous videos has it.

Magnus did say that Dubov is one of his inspirations
That's one dope handshake at the end
the basis of dubov's game seems to be very good classical technique, so he is not going to mess up an equal ending
Glad to see they play that nightmare hell music at many different kinds of events
Better draw than losing.
Dubov should have worn his Balenciaga jumper
*Dubov* is the best.
most satisfying handshake ive seen
Daniil es mi favorito
Нет, ну здесь очевидно! Что пешку надо было вращать не против, а по часовой стрелке, по правилу правого пальца! Ну ничего, ребята по тренируются и удача попрет с неимоверной силой!

Why no overtheboard screen?
They rock some AC/DC before matches? Hell yeah
that is very nice handshake!
Handshake like Magnus Carlsen
0:46 holy sht... Have we just seen propper hand shake betwean two gm?? 😱 Edit: ok, not really. Dubov was looking away. Ok, everything is still normal, for a second I though that some glitch in a matrix happened or something like this.
Very peaceful game
I like the way Dubov plays....He don't think so advance ..
The handshake is hard on this one.

My crush dubov daniil😍
1 whole line ?!?! that's a long conversation.
Why Alireza is not playing?
Dubov is funny 😅🤣
Couldnt even hear what they said lol
I don't get the title. They are at the tournament, that's just the etiquette of playing chess. Trash talk which is quite common in parks and TV series about chess is just frowned upon in a tournament or any formal setting.
Maria Emelianova sighting
The titles are "funny". I just want to see a good game of blitz, and I'm invited to notice that they spoke to each other
Como que no traían ganas de jugar
whats the extra pieces for ?
Promoting the pawn
play with ur fingers
When GMs offer the hand without saying anything, is it just understood that both players obviously know whether a draw or resignation is being offered based on the position?
Good question! I’ve wondered that too!
I'm not a chess guy, why do people call for a draw? Why not play till the finish, either win or lose, don't get it, please clarify.
Next time a 2d screen extra too
Are they using microphones from the Soviet era?
the Soviet era is coming
Good by Dubov!
they also breathed!
A small diagram in the corner would really help. Thanks anyways
Dubov pants are from outer space.
Who won?
HI. Was a draw? Thanks
El PGN de este torneo es un desastre...
what is the signification that they dont put the queen at the end?
Those pieces were already there at the beginning. I've heard that those extra queens are used when one promotes a pawn. If you look closely at the end, both had returned all pieces except their kings. Hence 1 open square. If both the king AND queen were missing, there'd be 2 open squares 😊
@@orangeisthenewstrawberry6603 ah yeah my bad, both have queen, it only miss king, they are in the middle !!
@@orangeisthenewstrawberry6603 And why are the kings left in the middle ? Serious question.

Sorry, your cuts take away from the mental game a bit... they are watching each other. Let them ride, imo. Thanks.
who won? can someone please just write who wins after these matches cos i never know
It's a draw. If you don't know who won, look at where they put their kings in the end. Kings on white squares = White won. Kings on black squares = Black won. Kings on both colors = Draw.
Where's the chess handshakes guy?
@jabba7370
Huli kain ng bishop ni magnus dapat isolated na pawn ni dubov.

You like draws? But Naka is being treated a little unfair in this tournament by the lack of uploads.
Both leave them queen out

Who win😝?
Carlsen vs Tal 2.0
im new to chess but why did this game end? Could they not keep moving their pawns?
they could keep moving but neither would make any progress. so they agreed draw.
No need to moving pawn, it's draw
Because they are afraid of making an accidental mistake if the game drags on for too long. 😜
Yeah there are moves but cus they think so far ahead they both know its going to be a draw anyway so instead of wasting time they just draw
what was the line?
Dubov said, "We should play for more draws next time, ok?".
Hans will get 200m
MC: "My stomach is a disaster, I really have to poop." DD: "I pooped before the game, that's better" MC: Yeah....
Guys, i cant get out of that chess rabbit hole, can you explain at least how to understand who won?
They agreed to draw as there were no possibilities to advance
