Someone sabotaged our trail... super sad to see this but we'll clean it and get back out there! Can't let anyone stop you from enjoying things because they're bitter .

I think you're absolutely right - some people are so bitter and hateful that regardless of their motives, in the end, they want to spread their hate. Kudos on rising above and beyond from a fairly new sub in Vermont, USA.

You should report this, otherwise off roading people will be blamed and that gives the county reason to shut trails down!

You should submit a trail report with OF4WD. I like this trail a lot, but I don't want to damage my tires. Tires are expensive.

I did submit a report. I'm friends with people on the board and they're aware of the situation. Apparently it's not the first time it's happened.
Sorry to see people taking out their frustration on y'all with all that glass and junk on the trail.. trail cameras are fairly cheap and if you can catch someone in the act you might be able to bring some justice to the situation, just an idea if it continues to be a problem.
Maybe OF4WD can monitor this situation. Nail strips were put on the trail several years ago and noted on the OF4WD website.

That sucks!! I would not worry to much on driving on glass but the nails are not cool at all!!
The glass can get shot back by tires and hit bystanders as well as possible tire damage if it gets you on a back angle. Either way no fun
Sad that people try to sabotage other people this way ... They don't think of the consequences for people PLUS what about other users, kids, animals etc. Just sad.

I’ve seen hikers sabotage ATV trails before. I’ve also had a large spike go through two of my quads tires on a trail that ran adjacent to a farmers leased land, we were riding on crown land. We lost 5 tires when we all ran over the spikes. Mud lite XTRs aren’t cheap.
Sorry to hear about that, it’s a shame some people think that way and do stupid stuff like this
@@SmokinMonkeyOG to properly clean that trail from those nails go grab a bunch of roofing nail magnets. You can sweep the ground and they have a quick release to dump them.
Please submit a trail report with OF4WD -- last year I believe they put nail boards in the water crossings.

Need to set up some trail cameras and catch them in the act , will happen again. Sad that ppl would do this. Cool video .

Went threw hogs back the other day and got two flats didn't see anything obvious but keep eyes peeled could be stuff on that trail aswell. Will look better once trucks fixed and go back

Thanks for letting us know and all the work cleaning it up. I went through there today and it looked good. What a bunch of losers to throw broken glass everywhere. Ya, don't let vehicles out there to have fun but lets definitely leave glass there that will be there in a thousand years for animals to cut their feet on. Complete idiots.

Glass will not hurt real off road tires. Those nails wouldn't even hurt my swampers, the carcass on them are way too thick for little roofing nails to do anything to them. Don't get me wrong though it's b s them spreading glass in nature

if you have the tires with really thick tread and side wall the glass and nails will do nothing
Can turn into shrapnel if your tires kick it up even if it doesn’t puncture a tire but I hear you

Yes but not for off roading. It’s a 3 hour drive so it’s a pain to drive that far with the wind howling in your ear. I’ve tried and it’s miserable. As for roof I have no where to keep it I wouldn’t be able to take it off and leave it in a public parking spot all day hoping nobody takes it
bring back the big bird! the gladiator is boring mate! lol don't get me wrong that gladiator is an awesome machine but I bet u were all worried of scratching it or damaging it, not to mention the glass and nails, with the tj you would have wheeled on rocks, sticks, nails and coffee mugs, chew em up and spit them out with no worries :) sad to see people ruining others peoples fun.
Ya but then I’d have to spend another $1000 repairing other stuff on the TJ. I’m getting it ready to sell it. Can’t afford to keep it going and I need to put money away for my future
wow a lot of the ATV rides were chicks
people don't realize how stupid they are..they think they are making a protest, but in reality they are putting peoples lives in danger, you unknowingly pick up one of those nails on the trail and then drive home down the freeway and your tire blows out causing an accident...the person who laid the nails could be facing some serious charges if caught.
Definitely, the glass can also be turned into shrapnel and injure other on the trail or worse
Put a hunters trail cam on the trail and see who the a$$ hat is that is putting all the stuff on the trail
