I just dropped out of college (doing ultrasound) and started cosmetology school!!!! this video was so helpful and I related to your story so much!
a morning routine and how you prepare yourself for a full day of work !!
I love this video! I've been working for 6 weeks and so far everything you said matches up honestly and I'm so excited for the future. It's true what you were saying about it being so free ... once you get comfortable with the services it really is so free and easy. 💖💖💖
Great tips for people that are thinking/starting cosmetology school! ♥️
Thank you so much!
Could you please do a hairstylist must have product and tools💗
Danielle, I'm officially enrolling to Empire Beauty School 🤩
Yessss Danielle longer vlogs is perfect I loved this because you are amazing productive and you are sweetheart
Thank you!
@@DanielleRounds of course
I like your content!
Could you do some tutorial videos with some tips? Like how to do an up do or layer hair cut or style just anything that you can do with tips and your personal touch. Or even more salon day in the life with before and after and showing some of the process.
you mentioned how your clientele were mostly from social media. I would appreciate it if you could make a yt video on tips for growth on socials. your content is amazinggg!!!
Thank you so much!! I actually did do a video on how to grow your instagram
Your video was so helpful! 🤎 I am new hairstylist :) I had a question about timing. I am still really slow when it comes to foiling and feel like my clients are annoyed by that lol whenever I get clients that are friends/family they’re so understanding but when I get random salon clients they expect to be in & out. Do you have any tips on that? :)
You could always let them know an estimated time of how long its going to take. But for speed tips, it definitely takes some time to get the hang of speed. Just remember less is more with foiling! You don’t always need to do a million foils to get the desired look
i’m currently at aveda and im only in my 4th week but i’m still so nervous about life after i graduate and whether or not i’ll be fully prepared for the salon life
You got this girl!!
Hi, I’m from the UK and iv been training for 4 years and I’m almost finish. As you only trained for 9 months i can’t imagine how you were ready or prepared to go on the shop floor. Did you do much extra outside of training to prepare yourself? I know it’ll be different where you are but colour theory is my weakest area. Any help would be appreciated :)xxx
Toni&Guy was a very fast speed learning program. I learned A LOT within the 9 months. I had clients everyday when I was able to take them! I also did a lot of online courses and watching a ton of youtube videos which helped as well. Therefore I felt as though I was ready and I was. Color theory my was absolute FAVORITE in hair school! Definitely look at color wheels, color charts and stuff like that
@@DanielleRounds ok thankyou so much !!xx
how expensive is cosmetology school?
How many months did you crourse?
Commission is the pay you get from selling products right?
I get 10% commission from product I sell. But all the services I do I get 46% of it

Learning to say no was HUGE for me! Saved me from many redos and unhappy clients
