Task idea: You are now extremely shy. Any time you make eye contact with another player, you must freeze in place completely. No movement, looking around, or speaking. Once eye contact is broken, pretend like nothing happened. You must do this for 20 minutes. All time counted must be around other players.

This is basically an Enderman trait. If you lock eye contact with an Enderman, they just stare at you and growl. They can't move while you look at them, only attacking after you look away.
I actually liked the singing task. Mostly because Grian already naturally speaks in a musically rhythmic way that could pass as song or lyric poetry. It's just when and because he's trying to sing that it sounds discordant and obvious (though obvious is kind of the point of this particular task).
Task Idea: You become a narrator for [player name] and narrate everything/most things they do like a wildlife documentary for half of the session. Potentially a hard task????

I could really feel Grian's stress as he tries so hard to not starve or get slayed inside the mines looking for diamonds.
Task idea: Convince a player of a mechanic that doesn't actually exist and have them try it. Edits: Hard variant suggested by @SuperSpider9098: show them the mechanic "working" through some clever trick, then have them try it. Convincing more than 1 or a convincing a certain randomized player could also be an option.

Secret Life task Idea: Hot Potato. Give this book to another player. Once this book is in your possession you may not get rid of it unless transferring it to another willing player’s inventory. If this book is in your inventory at the end of the session you fail your task no matter what your original task was. If you have already completed your task when you receive this, you may deny it, but only if you’ve already pressed the win button. If this is your task to begin with, you may only press the win button at the end of the session if you do not have the book. Kinda long winded, but I thought it was a cool enough concept to justify that

You could do this with a dispenser, because it automatically equips armor without the player getting the chance to look at it first.
but wouldn't having a helmet just make it harder for them to die? maybe this could be done with a pumpkin or another piece of armor

@@idontcareidc You're not allowed to have a helmet on on this server. So if you put a helmet on them they have to remove it or else they're breaking the rules. This means they would have to: 1. Die to remove the helmet to comply with the rules. 2.drop an anvil on thier head until the helmet breaks. 3. Simply go against server rules, have a helmet, and everyone shame them for it.

Task idea: You may only speak to people whilst standing at least two blocks higher than them, for at least 30 minutes. You must interact with people during this time. Slipping up resets the timer.

New secret idea suggestion: you must have at least 10 conversations where, somewhere in the conversation, you dig a 1 block hole underneath you and stay there for the remainder of the conversation. You can do this multiple times with the same person, but not in a row.

honestly some of these should definitely be the hard tasks due to how easy it would be to guess these tasks and the sufficient difficulty in accomplishing them

Task idea: Start a 5-minute professional fishing contest with 3 or more players and attempt to catch the most fish. You get as many attempts as you like as long as you can convince the other players to do a rematch. Optional: Put on a country accent while doing so.

Task idea: The task is a hot potato, if you can give the book to someone else without them noticing you've completed the task. If they catch you and read the task, you won't fail, but you can't try to give it to them again. Whoever is given the task book will automatically fail their own task if they still have it by the end of the session. Hence it is a hot potato.

@@teletummy There is no punishment as long as the task isn't hard. Also, I think that the person who got the task can't complete it till the end of the session in case it comes back to them during the session. Plus the book might disappear if they hit complete.

Idea for new life series: random life. In the first session, everyone gets a random number of lives from 1-10 4-10 is dark green and the other lives are normal. 1-3 boogeys are selected each session unless there are all reds. Every other session, your lives get rerolled but if you died in the previous session, the maximum number of lives you can have decreases by the number of times you died. For example, if I got 5 lives then died twice, the maximum number of lives I could roll for the rest of the series is 3. If you don't kill and you are the boogy, you go straight to red. If you kill someone, the chancees of you getting a higher number of lives are increased for every kill. I think this could be cool.

For example, let’s say Grian has this task and can only talk to Scar. Grian: Hey Scar! Scar: Hey Grian! *Impulse walks over* Grian: Hey Scar, tell Impulse that I need to borrow 5 iron from him.

I think I cracked a rib from laughing so hard when Scar started singing along. Absolute gold.
The back and forth of yes it is no its not was so funny
for the helmet issue and needing to recognize member and so i recommend the cosmetic armor reworked mod, it lets you toggle on and off your armor's appearance or even make your armor look like another set which would be fun if someone wants to wear a custom item without removing armor, this way everyone can look good or keep their skin while keeping all the armor and others can always recognize them.
I couldn't even watch while eating cuz I'd laugh every time Grian sings, it's so 🤣
