I like this idea! There is so much complexity in each individual song! It's so hard to differentiate your favorite musical aspects, moments, lyrics, lyrical aspects, and presentation as well as indescribable feelings and moments that we individually love (or hate) for each song!
Hi! Loved the video and listening to what you both thought. Loved the chaotic energy in this one. Here's my thoughts: Shout out: the ending adlibs- Leigh's "you'll never bring me down", Perrie's "Maaannn~~", Jade's "Baby just look at me now" and "down~~" and Jesy's ending. Touch ft. Kid Ink: specific to the feature, I actually quite like his verse but I really like the way he says"if you keep touching my chain like that." And also Jesy's backing vocals during the verse as you said. Reggaeton Lento: Leigh's verse "make me sick, you're my doctor" F.U.: the entire bridge. Jesy kills. Power ft. Stormzy: specific to him, his lyrics "you look them in the eye and say 'I know I'm not a guy, but see, there's power in my losses and there's power in my wins." And "You know there's power in a couple, let me compliment your vibe." NMSS ft. MGK: specific to him, his entire verse gets me turnt but the lyrics "Stare at the skies for you, only got eyes for you, even when the light's off, I'm visualizing you." Just punches me, really. Also love how the production slows. Oops ft. Puth: I think this song is pretty good, I don't hate it. I would say Jesy's pronunciation in her verse and the bridge are my favorite. You Gotta Not: love this song, helluva vibe! I'm honest, my favorite part is the chorus. Love it! Down and Dirty: hands down the Lerrie prechorus!! I love THE HARMONY. If I cheat I'd also say Jade's verse. Love how sharp she sounds. Your Love: it's not my favorite song, but I can enjoy it when in the mood. My favorite part is definitely the ending. The last few "your love, your love, your love" sung by all the girls and more specifically, Jade's "your love, your love, your love", with her lower register. It makes me feel like the song is supposed to make me feel. It makes me think of my girlfriend. Nobody Like You: FUCKING AMAZING SONG. I relate hard, really feel it because I've been abused. Leigh Anne's entire verse. It encapsulates all my feelings. Private Show: one of favorites! Hard decision, but I'd say the prechorus in general. Leigh and Pez both serve it in a different way and it just hItS. Also, super tiny detail that I'ma cheat with, Jesy's mention of consent in the bridge "You got my permission to do what you like." Nothing Else: I really like this song. I agree with LMtheDream that it gives a certain feeling. Hard fight between the chorus and Jade's last adlib+the ending instrumental as doesitmatter mentioned. If I get: I agree, Jesy's verse just hits. It always makes me stop in my tracks. I'd also cheat and say Jade's bridge. Is your...?: Jade's verse, no debate for me. It gives me the good shivers. Dear Lover: I think this is an underrated bop, personally. I'd agree, Jesy's verse again. Also Leigh's ending line. Touch: the chorus right after Jade's verse, stopping after Jade's adlib. I love how the production changes slightly in that small bit. That is a hard fight with the Chorus when they're escaping the maze in the MV because I also love how the production changes there to more beat heavy. Power: I'm cheating alot. Pez's opening, of course. Jesy's verse staring with "My turn." Jesy's ending "Motorbike", I love so much. And how Jade joins Leigh in her high note of "long as you don't forget" during Leigh's verse. Though I do prefer Power when it's live. NMSS: yes, Jesy's bridge is the heart of the song! Along w/ that I love Leigh's high note and the Leighade back and forth in the post chorus and ending. Something about going from Jade's falsetto to Leigh's lower register just hits . Beep Beep: I actually really like this song! The lyrics are certainly.... something...but I can't help but vibe w/ the song! Jesy's adlibs during the bridge, Jade's high note "oh-oh-oh,oh-oh-oh, ah yeah!" And the way Perrie ends the song with her tiny verse. Freak: YES, TRULY A MASTERPIECE!!!! I would agree and just say the whole song. The whole bridge and Jade's extra high note afterwards. Also Jesy's 'scream'. Touch (aco): the thing leading to Leigh's high note. Her little verse + the backing vocals of the girls. Also Perrie's "I wanna feel your touch..(insert the rest)". Shout out (aco): Perrie's high note. It's so much clearer and it just sends me. NMSS (aco): same back & forth between Leighade + all the hidden harmonies being able to shine. I'm tired now, haha.
